Dead Lostaways
The Details
Last year’s October Contest was dedicated to the holiday of fear, shiver and goose bumps: Halloween!!
So it’s gonna be this year, with one little change:
Instead of asking you for a general, scary Lost vid, this year we want you to show us… *drum roll*… dead people!!! Yep, right: Dead People!
You can use each and every character who died on the show, no matter if they were major (Shannon, Boone, Ana-Lucia, Libby) or minor characters (Ethan, Goodwin, Jack’s father, Arzt…), no matter if they died on the island or in the flashbacks. Turn them into zombies, turn them into ghosts.... but, whatever you want to do with them: NO DRAMA VIDS PLEASE!!! We want to be scared, frightened and totally shocked; we want to wet our pants!!
Main criteria will be creepiness, originality and a good plot, but of course we will also be paying attention to the general editing and beat use. So, find a creepy song, grab your dead people clips and scare us to death! Mwahhhaaahaa!
The Rules
Specific Contest Rules:
-Videos must contain a good, creepy story about any *dead* Lost character.
-The more creative, the better. Don't be afraid to take risks.
-Running time should be around 3-5 minutes.
-When entering your video on the Submit page, you MUST enter "October 2006 contest submission" exactly for your vid's Description.
General Contest Rules:
-Contest submissions should be entered through the Submit page
-All regular submissions Rules apply.
-Only one entry per vidder
-Videos already submitted and RELEVANT can be submitted again, but we would rather see something fresh. (Please contact a CM if you wish to enter a previously-submitted video)
-Please do not use Megaupload, Rapidshare or Yousendit to host your files.
-Keep in mind that however you choose to host your video, it must be available for download at least until the end of the month. If we can not access your video at the time of judgment it will not be considered.
-Have fun!
