Okay, this is a special request because I adore this song, I doubt anyone has even heard it before, and I think it would make an amazingly touching Jate (or Skate, if you can manage it) vid. The only thing keeping me from making it a vid of my own is I already have a semi-promise for another song I also love that's theme would be way too close to this one to get away with . Plus, I'd like to force someone to listen to this song and make a vid for it. It'd be kinda cool to see what they do with it.
I'm not adamant about anything, but it seems to me this vid would make a beautifully touching vid about Jack sacrificing himself to save Kate in the end of Episode 6 of this season, tying in the "losing your memory" part to him wanting her to forget about him and live on with her life. Meanwhile, though she's escaped the Others thanks to Jack's sacrifice in the end, he's still there, thinking of her. There are still a lot of ways you could take the vid from there too, such as just what you're gonna do at the climax of the vid, but I'll leave it all up to whoever (if anyone) takes this .
This could work for Skate, or other ships for that matter, too, but I think it might be a bit harder to pull it off, and you may have to resort to heavy AUing. Either way, I'm happy so long as someone ties to make it great
And, of course, you may edit the song as needed lol

To the song "Strung Out" by the Virgin Millionaires (a local Indianapolis band). While I would LOVE to see this vid, I'm just too intimidated by the idea of a character study, and at that...this song is specifically about drug addiction, so I think it'd have to be a Charlie/drug character study and that just flat out scares me. But, it's got great beats, good lyrics... (I have written them out, but I'm missing a little tiny piece because I can't quite make it out and they haven't published their lyrics on myspace or anything, yet). Any takers? *begs*

Okay, this animation is really cruddy quality, but I tried uploading the 10 MB Quicktime version to putfile for only an only 6-second vid and it would have caused suicide for anyone trying to watch it. But I made this swimming flipping dolphin for my 3d animation class. Enjoy.
