If you haven't heard, Creation is now having a "Lost" convention. Go to http://www.creationent.com/ for more details. Unfortunately, I can't go because of work stuff. Since they're familiar with me and my husband from our Farscape vids, I've e-mailed them and asked if they will be looking for some "Lost" vids to show. I'll let everyone know when I hear from them!

Too bad I don't have more cash on hand or having a LVI store would be a cool idea...lol. No one outside of the Lost fandom and vidding fandom would ahve a damn clue what LVI is but it'd still be cool .

come to think of it, it stayed in my mind for about an hour too

I think people would recognise it! LVI is a big name in the internet lost world... or at least it was before I came here lol

you know, I was pondering the logistics and legality of possibly adding a CafePress storefront to LVI.

I wonder if BA can tell us how the Cherryblossom Rd. shop is going... er, damn you HBO!

I've been thinking on the ideas of some sort of LVI store myself. It would be an incredible way to raise money for LVI's inevitable growth and people would actually get something in return. We'd need to determine who would be in support of this idea in the fandom though (hint hint...this would be a great time to tell us what you think *nudge nudge*).

I'm not sure if this would ever work or the legal aspects of it all. Is anyone here a lawyer or have any lawyer friends? If you do send them the way of the council. LVI is growing and I have a feeling this is a good time to start to contemplate that financial aspects/consequences of that continued growth.

Ha ha! Love the voodoo doll! There's no way I can afford to go to that con. If I couldn't scrounge up the money for the One Ring Con (which I would have gladly given my right arm to go to!) I'm not going to be able to for this . I think a cafepress store would be a great idea though!

You can't have any copyrighted names or photos on the stuff you sell, but I HIGHLY doubt the word "Lost" is copyrighted! You could easily make shirts saying "Lost Video Island" and I don't think anyone would have any right to sue you over it. As long as there are no pics of the cast on it or anything.

We have enough creative people here that someone could easily design some cool looking LVI logos and what not. I'm just trying to brain storm ways to pay for LVI's continued growth without down right begging relatives or other fans for help. At least this way people would get something out of there money. Definitely something I think we'll be looking into if it seems there is enough demand to warrant the effort.

Dominic Monaghan said on one of the shows (ET, Extra, E, Etalk Daily, one of them. l don't remember which one) that that was his theory of the invisible monster. That it was some huge, pissed off elephant freakin out cause it had cats scotch taped to it's back and the cats were freakin out too and scratching the elephants back with their claws, thus making the elephant roar or scream or whatever the hell you'd call that noise from the monster...LOL.
There now l've filled you guys in. Great theory Dom.
