ok i'm gettin sick of windows movie maker and i've got some moeny from my birthday and i wanna change what programme i use and i was wondering which one to buy and i was wondering whether you guys had any opinions on which ones you think are the best prefrably with PIP

I always pimp Sony Vegas Movie Studio when I read a question like this.

It's what I've been using for several months now and I love it! (I did my time with WMM versions 1 and 2 both so I know how sick you can get of it!

The great thing about Vegas Movie Studio is that you get almost all of the features in the full version of Vegas but at a fraction of the cost. To be fair, it is missing a couple of the more advanced features but I haven't run into anything that was impossible to work around.

Besides, I can almost guarantee you'll be so thrilled to not have WMM dying on you every three seconds that you won't miss much of anything, at least at the start!

You can download a 30 day trial of SONY Vegas Movie Studio.
I'm impressed with it. Loads better than WMM, which was a pain in the you know where.

In terms of price/value, I think Sony Vegas Movie Studio is the best! I've used it and Vegas 6 and I haven't found much difference between the two appart from the price.

I agree. I downloaded the free trail for Vegas 6.0 and not much was different.
