It's my favorite kinda of AU: the really, really AU! Not just Shannon and Charlie but Dead!Shannon and Dead!Charlie!
I really loved the AU scenes between them, especially the audio bits at the end. Very, very nice! Beautiful font, too. Very elegant and "trailer appropriate."
Awesome job! |

Aww thanks, Ais. you're just sayin' that because you owe me lovins for writing the last chapter of Princess Jen and the Prince Who Turned Back Into a Frog.
I'm glad you liked it even though I killed them off...again. That's almost two vids in a row that I've offed Shannon and Charlie. You'd never know they're two of my favorites, would you? |

yey channon! It's so different to how my au is (so far) I really got insperation for them as a couple after seeing your video! A really more emoy (word?) type trailer. Quite a dark love story. _________________

Wow, I'm inspirational?
I can't wait to see yours I've been secretly shipping Channon since Walkabout aired a zillion years ago and Shannon used her mad skillz to get Charlie to catch her a fish. I'm glad you liked my video! |

Oh damn! Thought I had already commented on this one!
Well, fantastic vid! Know why?
1. DLM soundtrack. WOOT!
2. Unconventional couple. Nice to see changes from the usual old ships.
3. Creative AU storyline (that has to do with death - more references to DLM. YAY!)
4. The amazing pulling off of the creative AU storyline! I loved the voiceovers and scenes you chose.
5. The wording that came up, especially: "Fate brought together in life, but destiny brought them together in death" (or something to that effect ). Very poetic and beautiful!
So, in short, awesome job and congrats on your silver CP. You definitely deserve it. |

rbdexter93 - best of luck with it--shoot me a PM when you're finished with it; sometimes I go a little AWOL in between vids and I'm taking a bit of a break right now, so I don't know how many new submissions I'll end up bothering to look at for the next couple of weeks, but I DEFINITELY want to see yours when it's done!

Ok, first of all, I'm pretty much in love with the way you started this out You crack me up. By the way, without your fabulous clip contributions, this vid would never have gotten finished, so THANK YOU!!!

I LOVE the music from DLM. LOVE it. A lot. LOT.

The old ships are so ...easy...to vid. Not to knock anyone who ships the classics in their vids, because God knows I almost always do, too, but I wanted to try something a little more challenging just to add to the challenge of doing my first trailer. I'm glad it was an acceptable ship to sail

I was SO hoping that you would comment on this vid, because I know that you're into DLM, too, and I was sure that you'd be the one to pick up on the music and/or the references to it. I can't help myself, seriously...

Thank you! It's a huge compliment to me when someone tells me that I pulled something off that I was trying to accomplish. I worried a little about that in this one, like I did with Shannon's Nightmare--oh man, SN had me terrified that it wouldn't be believable, because it was, not only ridiculously AU, but also a crossover with DLM. Glad to hear that I did a good job! Thank you!

Aww thank you My favorite was "remember that death is not the end...but only a transition." But...I can't take credit for that; that's the work of Dream Theater, borrowed, with love, by me for the trailer. I can, however, take credit for "Fate brought them together in life. Destiny brought them together in death."

Thanks so much! I'm so excited to have gotten it and I'm even more stoked at the quick response for it I was sort of worried that the audio would have killed it, since when I fixed it to be less painfully loud for the louder songs, I ended up losing a LOT of the volume all together. Glad that didn't make a HUGE difference My favorite part? Anything that wasn't from DLM was from local bands either from NY where I grew up or Indianapolis where I live now. Originality, baby
Thanks again for the great feedback!
Much love! |

That's very, very original! Clever editing! I loved when everyone was walking toward the two graves... Charlie and Shannon died at the same time! _________________

Aww thank you so much Yeah, that was the idea: that they died at the same time. Thanks for the feedback! |

ooooo! that was so creepy in a good way! If that were an actual TV show I would watch it for sure. You did an excellent job with the voiceover dubs and clip manips. And a good idea! Those are so few and far in bewteen. |

Thank you! I'm so glad you like the music--two of the songs I found through a different fandom and the rest were local musicians
The scene where we see Shannon and Charlie die is a song by Highland Drive, which is a (broken up ) really great band from Corning NY and the last two songs in the piece are by Missing Six, a band from Indianapolis, IN. Be sure to check out their myspaces, if you liked them Local bands love feedback, I've learned |
