My dad had tried to download windows xp on are computer but it couldn't be loaded on cuz of it being windows 98 if any can tell me where i can find a movie maker that i can download free that would be great

I'm afraid Windows Movie maker requires XP to run at all.. so even if you were to download it seperately, I don't think it would work. Try asking someone at a local repair shop, or go search on the internet, for ways to convert your computer from a 98 to an XP. I'm sure it's possible

You need XP for WMM... and I dont think you can just download XP. If u really need a movie maker for free than just either make a copy of someones WindowsXP disc and install it into your computer... it overlays on top of you 98 so you wont loose any files. Another way is to download a different movie maker.. I suggest Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere. You can download them off of KaZaA or Limewire or something like that for free... if you know how to crack the (not hard. Just look for something like "Adobe Premiere + Keygen" or "+ Serial" or "+Crack"). That is illegal but it works..

Need anymore info on that stuff just post it.....

Uhhh... yeah.... Rockslost, I think you should make getting XP working your first priority for this. Most programs don't work without it, and it's just much better than 98, and safer too, anyway.

I tried it out... It looks pretty easy.. But even though WMM lags alot and doesnt work most of the time.. I would have to say WMM is maybe better.. This is just from me messing around wit it a bit so don't take my word for it Hobbes.. I it looks nice an all but I know WMM way better. Plus thats just a trial so that means I would have to download the full version on Limewire and crack it ....
I say try it out on a "Test Vid" and c if u like it and if u do i'll try and get u the cracked version

nah, if it's not better than WMM then it's not worth the effort. i still have a version of Vegas 5, and Premiere effects to try out on a test vid too

What I need is a good tutorial that includes EVERYTHING. It's always the minor details, such as needing a fade out in the audio, that puts me off, but other than the little complicated stuff, Vegas 5 seems the clear winner of the higher end programs.

btw, don't worry about the cracked versions

I got those covered already

LOL but htat's relaly cool that you actually have the skills to crack a program

I wonder if you could crack dr.divx so that that stupid little watermark doesn't show up on all my videos.... hmmmmmm

Im gonna start workin on ur Dr. DivX ... So i might have to post it on a small site like Tripod but u would have to download it fast cuz i put Photoshop CS on it and they took it off like the next day lols... against their rules.

If you can get it working, I don't care what I have to do

The strange thing about those little watermarks it creates is:
1. they aren't solid. They vary in and out, even if they're on the same clip.
2. they go onto ALL of my lost episodes, even the ones I haven't run through Dr. Divx yet

I just HOPE that even if that hacking succeeds, I can get those damn things off my episodes

I have a clip of Kate that I needed to zoom in really close for (I needed an eye shot) in my vid I'm working on right now, and since it's so zoomed in, the divx logo thing still appears, but it fills the ENTIRE SCREEN >.< bloody pain in the ASS.

Btw, what programs and stuff do you use for this hacking? and is it very hard?

I might like to try it one day

Well i dont really "crack" it like u think i do... I think u just download them right? Well thats all i do.. But I have a friend about the same age as me (15) and hes like a "wiz" on that stuff. He knows it pretty good so if i cant get it ill ask him. But i thinks i got it.
