Hey about the deadline, does it have to be uploaded before sunday, or can i use the sunday to finish the vid? ( i coud realy use some extra time ^^ )

It has to be sent in on Sunday but you can keep working on it for the whole day then just quickly upload and submit it.

UPDATE! The deadline has been extended a little further to September 5th. So you now have until Midnight, Eastern time, Tuesday the 5th to get your vids done and submitted!

The movie is almost ready, but i had to make it a bit smaller cous of the huge file size. Its now 4 minuts. Im a bit doubting if i might be use it for the next contest for september. I dont know if 4 minuts is enought for this one...

Anyway, is it alright i put it in a zip file and host it somewhere on the internet? cous if i use any kind of stream site the qualty will be reduced.

Hey Blitzy! Here are some of our recommended hosting places, which includes several where you can indeed put it up as a ZIP file for downloading.

You can also use the second link option that you'll find as you go through the submission process on our Submission Page to host it some place like YouTube for people who would like the option of seeing it as a faster, streaming vid.

Don't forget that you'll need to put August 2006 contest submission in the description so that it'll be entered properly. (All of the official rules are here.) If you have any questions or any problems, don't hesitate to ask!
