I think you guys may really like this one.

Go to your profile > scroll to "Board Style" > select "LVI Black"

It has some kinks, but damn is that nice on the eyes at 2 AM

LOL I think I might just be keeping this one for myself. I don't know about you all

Interesting...I think I prefer the silver one, but this still looks cool.

I prefer the silver one, too, but it looks quite good nonetheless. And you're probably right, that this one is better at 2am.

Oh noes, now I'm going to confuse the main site with the forum. It's so color coded, hee!

I love it, it really is much easier on the eyes, particularly when you're online at night and have the silver screen blinding you. BUT NOW WE HAVE BLACK AND GREEN! *fangirls*

The emoticons stick out pretty nicely too.

if you all like it enough, we cooouuuullld make this the default, and anyone who prefers the regular coudl just switch to it in their settings.

Awkward, that's weird. With this layout, mods are silver, and admins are orange. In the silver one, mods are green, and admins are orange. You're still orange on the silver one, so according to the color code, you're an admin! And the color code never lies, man.

Okay that first post was lame "it's nice." I suck.

Anyway, here's my 2 cents for what it's worth. Make the green/black the default. It will make a mroe seamless transition for new users and a more presentable look for the website as a whole. Those of us who like the other layout better will just have to change it in our profiles.

It's definitely a change for the better.
