So that's Stellan Skarsgård! I kept meaning to ask you who he played because I knew his name but I couldn't place what he looked like! Thanks, Meandi! 
And I hate to admit that I keep calling him Barnacle Bill now... The first time was totally accidental. I said it to my friend as we came out of the movie and we got a laugh out of it. Now it's become my nickname for Dear Ol' Dad Turner...  |

Some of his blood? But it has to be Will's...and besides, Ed's right, they hung around for a while when Barbosa died...they would've heard Barbosa if he was still partly alive, I mean it's not like you could stay still and quiet after being shot in the heart. And when that monkey grabs the coin after the credits, as Ed said, there's nobody around, so it has to be after they left...Somehow they re-found the monkey though, and he probably brought Barbosa back to life at evil-freak-show-girl's (don't you love the nicknames I give for people when I can't remember their names?  ) place...that would make him undead, and then either, as Hobbes said, they'd have to journey to the end of the Earth like had been said at the end of the movie, or maybe evil-freak-show-girl has some weird spell or anti-curse type thing.
Either that or somebody went to the end of the Earth to bring him back to life. And the monkey's just there because it's fun watching a monkey continuesly get shot.
I think that dog's gonna have atleast something small to do with the last movie...it looks stupid now, but I think something's gonna happen with it.

I liked this movie a lot! Especially how they brought back practically all the characters (even the dog!) What I didn't like was this Jack/Elizabeth/Will triangle. I see it as a very useless subplot.

Wasn't the triangle kinda there in the first movie? I mean I know it wasn't anywhere near as big, but Jack and Elizabeth almost hooked up while they were stranded on the island...
I personally think it's an awesome "subplot", I mean Elizabeth suits both Jack and Will so perfectly. It's gonna be great to see who she ends up with in the end. (although I doubt it'll be Jack, since there's probably more Will/Elizabeth fans out there. So unless Will dies, it'll be him...  )

The ending scene where that lady introduces Barbosa and he's coming down the stairs and we only see his feet... my grandma thought it was gonna be Jack.  Why the hell would she say she knows who will help lead them to save him if it was Jack? That'd be a waste of time! |

ouch.
What I meant is, ever since POTC I just never saw Jack as a potential for Elizabeth. I understand that she liked the pirates life and all but it's just one of those couples that I can't really understand. I'm just not feeling the chemistry.

Hehe, welcomes Stellan is kinda hard to remember, he's got that everyday-kinda-guy-look. And to me he doesn't look Swedish at all

Well, by next summer I think you'll get his name, he's gonna be in POTC 3 too, and have an even bigger part in that movie. As will Keith Richards
