Hey l got this information off of Lost-Multimedia and they said Lost isn't gettin a second season.

Some sad news, today, Lostkateers. I hear through the grapevine that ABC has NOT renewed the series for a second season. Apparently the reason for the two-hour season finale is to wrap up the show's loose ends, and then set it free.

The network apparently was pleased with the show's ratings and audience response, but unfortunately, they felt that "dragging out" the series' theme for another season would be counter-productive, and that it was best left as just a single-season limited series. I hear all of the cast members are disappointed, but are looking forward to new projects. Matthew is apparently looking into a TV news gig in Hawaii, for one, and Dom's decided to take up competitive surfing.

As I find out more, I'll keep everyone posted. It was great while it lasted!

Okay, #1, Most networks do not announce new seasons/lineups until May/June (unlike networks that don't know how to run themselves *cough*WB*cough, cough* sorry hairball), #2, the execs at ABC have already made mention a LONG time ago that if the raitings stayed as high as they are, they would pick the show up for a total of 6-7 seasons, and #3, Dom... a competitive Surfer. That should have tipped ya off right there.

It's an April Fool's Joke, albeit a cruel one, but an April Fool's none the less.
