Since KC did a small questionnaire for us to get to know ourselves, I'm pulling 2 from the board I frequent (besides here).

These 10 questions originally came from a French series, "Bouillon de Culture" hosted by Bernard Pivot. They're better known as the questions that James Lipton asks every guest at the end of "Inside the Actor's Studio" show.

Answers them for yourself, and have fun with your friends. You'll be amazed at how much they reveal about a person's thoughts, feelings and beliefs.

What is your favorite word? music

What is your least favorite word? coagulate, cause it just sounds wrong!

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? singing, anytime, anywhere!

What turns you off? parents who never taught their children how to act in public places

What is your favorite curse word? Shit. So much so I have to capitalize it.

What sound or noise do you love? a cat purring

What sound or noise do you hate? a sour note/someone singing off key

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? sound editing

What profession would you not like to do? garbage collection or amusement park worker

What is your favorite word? Besotted. But it's not one that can be used often, unfourtunately. ETA: Though I enjoy "besotted", since it's not all that practical I'm changing my FAVORITE word to be "Dealie". I use that word CONSTANLY. To the point where it annoys those around me. It's just such a great you know, forget ACTUAL names of things/people/places/etc.

What is your least favorite word? Mucous. Just, bleah.

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Listening to music, most definately.

What turns you off? Ignorance.

What is your favorite curse word? Fuck. It's just so versitile.

What sound or noise do you love? My dog sighing. It's too cute.

What sound or noise do you hate? My alarm clock. I just associate it with all that is bad. Like having to get up and go to my job that I loathe and detest beyond measure.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Video editing. I would be SO happy if this could be my job.

What profession would you not like to do? Telemarketing. I worked as a telemarketer for a year and it was sheer hell. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? This question is far too deep for me to answer on 3 hours of sleep.

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Well executed action sequence.

What turns you off? The new Office on NBC.

What is your favorite curse word? It's a close tie between WHORE and CUNT.

What sound or noise do you love? The load up sound for video game consoles, doesn't matter which one, they all have plusses and minuses.

What sound or noise do you hate? Angry voices directed at me.
