Since I am such a nerd I decided to create a new topic on E3.

E3 is the biggest video game festival in the world.

Big news people

The Nintendo Revolution is now called the WII (Pronunced We)

It looks amazing! I can not wait to get my hands on it and try it out.

We are getting some pretty neat games for the system

New Zelda
New Super mario
Red (something, looks like a good FPS-first person shooter)
Tony Hawk's downhill
New Metroid Prime game

Are you kidding me? the ps3 is gonna rock so much. Lol frankly i don't care much about the price, i've been saving so much i can afford it. It'll be so incredible, have you even looked at the spec sheets on this baby? Not only that, it runs on blu ray discs, which hold 10 times the memory of dvds.

I like grownup games. I like first person shooters, harcore action games (like devil may cry or god of war) and i like GOOD racing games, (i'm not talking about gran tourismo, i mean like burnout).
I somehow find myself unable to get excited about the thought of super mario or the legend of zelda.

The controller, while it might be pretty fun to play with at first, i believe will get very tedious. I just don't see that it could manage to be at all serious. It's one of those accessories for party games, like a dancemat or eyetoy, albeit more advanced. Yes, it of course can be incorporated into serious games like FPSs, but if I want to settle down for an evening of gaming with my friends, i don't want to spend it waving my arm about like a loon. Not only will it start to feel kind of silly, your arm will actually start to hurt a lot, just hold up a glass of water for half an hour and you'll see what i mean.
The button layout is possibly even worse than the one on the gamecube. There are two buttons and a d-pad at the top of the controller, and two buttons at the other end! What's the point?!

I wouldn't consider getting a wii. I like my games to be games. The wii just won't give me the experience i want. If the ps3 really was going to be terrible, I'd get an xbox. But the fact is, at E3, sony still weren't ready to show off what they had.

Go PS3.
