Yes I think the trailer would be a lot different than the intro. Though I believe you shouldn't have the intro (being this contest) and then the trailer right after, cause it would just *seem* like repeats right in a row. So maybe you could do the trailer contest in a couple contests over? But I do love the idea of doing a trailer and having, as the other poster said, very powerful dialogue and kickass instrumental music (I'm all for that, and E.S Posthumus, my Russian babies, will get quite the work out).
I also LOVE the idea of the whole "Welcome to Lost Island....here you'll enjoy a four month stay..." idea.
AND I also love the advertising LVI idea. Like just little short videos in some way showing off LVI but also using Lost clips at the same time.
This is just adding on to the teaser idea--But I've seen plenty of Angel/BtVS trailers where the vidder actually takes the audio of a movie trailer and places it over the btvs/angel clips. Though I'm thinking this would be harder to do for Lost cause...well...they're on a frikkin beach. |

Actually.. you know what? I think you sold me on that trailer thing  I have a perfect idea for the song I'm gonna use if we do it  NOBODY TAKE IT OR I KILL YOU!  heeheehee. |

l agree with this one. l just sent in my entry over at LF for Laura's first music video challenge. We had to use The Servants "Cells" song and l had a blast doing it and not to mention watching all the other entries. l think it's a great idea.

Believe me, you're not the only ones who want that one >.< I've been trying to persuade the others to do this idea, but they really really just don't want to have to judge 20 videos of the same song 
I even thought of maybe making it a multiple-choice one, but all of them would just have to be really hard to vid videos.
for example....
"Put the Lime in the Coconut" by Harry Nilson LOL
I soooo want someone to do that one If we don't make a contest for these, then I'll just have to start my own like Laura did |

1) Require that the video use only footage from the backstories.
2) Coward Island, try to make the characters out as a bunch of cowards.
For example use the clip of Jacks dad claiming he is too weak to call him.
3) Brave island, Queer Island (no offense), ...
BTW, I have now watched Bulumas and acmes54 tourisms video more than 40 times each. acmes really has a lot of hidden humor in there. I just love them. Sorry I can't make a video, I have no artistic talent. |

You have to make a video in which by the time its ove people WTF? A video that is really confusing and makes no sense. |
