Holy crap! This has been going on for 2 more pages? Okay page and a half since I left?
If Jack is gay then so is Sun and she is hot for Kate (you could see it in her eyes when Kate was in her bra and panties in the ep I can't remember but I will go back and replay it). There that makes up for Jack being gay. |

I remember thinking at the time that it seemed a little strange the way that Sun just kinda stood there staring at Kate in that scene. Didn't really think, "Oh, she must be gay," or anything. It just struck me as an odd reaction.
I mean, I think if it would have been my own Sawyer-droolin'-girl-self who accidentally wandered in on half-dressed Kate, I would've said something like, "Oh, sorry!" and turned around and left. Not stood there staring. Wonder if Sun's reaction was just supposed to be some unspoken director/actor thing that I just didn't get?
And I'm not touching the Jack theory with a 10-foot pole and a HazMat suit. Being a Raving Sawyerette disqualifies me from making any controversial Jack comments...

That was foreshadowing. Sun was wishing she could get all naked and stand there look hot for everyone like Kate, but she couldn't. Because of Jin. That's why that is exactly what she did as soon as Jin 'left' her.
The pilot has a ton of foreshadowing. If you re-watch it, you'll notice that it hints at every character's backstory. I like Hurly's first appearance. lol.

I think in the aired pilot he's just standing there looking at the crash like 'oh shit, what did i do now.'
