I did! I thought he was fab. He kept some of the elements that make the Doctor we know and love who he is, but also made the role completely his own. Also the companion has the same name as me

I loved it I squeed at the start with Amy being little because I knew it was her but my boyfriend didn't. I'm kind of in love with Eleven, he was definitly awesome and the chemistry with him and Amy rocks!!! He has some amazing stories coming up and I can't wait to see them.

Ah I'm rambling...I guess I'm just a huge Doctor Who nerd

I know exactly what you mean, I never expected to just be so YAY over them so soon, lol! I've already vidded them twice, once with just the two trailers, then once from the first ep! So I'm definitely loving them and can't wait to see more! \o/

Anybody here still watching? Today's ep, "Vincent and the Doctor" was
Spoiler:

sad but very moving, IMO. I thought they did a good job of portraying someone who's struggling with serious depression and they didn't give it a magic cure ending, which was brave on their part. I thought the actor playing Vincent was really good, I sympathized with him through the whole thing (and I kinda loved his crush on Amy ).

Now we only have one more "regular" ep before the two part finale. *sad face* Then it's a long 6 months before the Christmas ep and then 3 more months after that before the next series. But at least we already know there's going to BE a 6th one, so that's something to look forward to.

It was kinda predictable but I loved how they managed to link the whole season! It was an insane episode.

Rory has to be one of the least annoying of the companion's family members. I hope he comes back.

And now s5 is over. But it was a great one, IMO! Can't wait for the DVD set to come out! \o/

Spoiler:

I loved the finale! I thought it was so much more than a "reset button" sort of ending because clues about it were planted all through-out the series (particularly the scene where the Doctor returns to Amy when she can't see and tells her she has to remember what he told her when she was 7 and he's got his jacket back on ). I'm still not totally sure if Rory is alive-alive or if he's still plastic-alive. But either way, I loved the ending with them all flying off together again!

And need I even say how much I loved his scenes with River? ♥! His "Hi, honey, I'm home" line made me totally squee, lol! But their last conversation seemed rather ominous! But at least it means we'll be seeing more of her in s6!
