Lost Video Island

I was bored so I started writing a little story for next episode, and I'm not done yet, but I'd like to have your oppinions on it
It's a little different, feels like a script, but I hope you'll like it
BTW sorry if my spelling is wrong at times



Part 1

(Shot on the beach at sunrise. Sayid is sitting by Shannon's grave, looking out over the
ocean. Suddenly Sawyer appears from behind, walking slowly. He looks at Shannon's
grave and then he looks at Sayid. He sees someone who has just lost a loved one.)

Sawyer: I'm sorry.

(Sayid doesn't answer - he doesn't even look at Sawyer. He keeps looking out over the ocean.
And when we think Sawyer is going to leave because conversation isn't coming, he sits down
besides Sayid and looks out over the sea aswell. And after a while of scilence, Sawyer
starts to talk again.)

Sawyer: Look.. just - listen. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not being able to attend her funeral.
I wasn't -
Sayid: Have you ever - truly - loved someone, Sawyer?
Sawyer: I don't know.
Sayid: Have you ever cared about someone and then just lost that person?

(Sawyer looks down and looks affected by Sayid's question. He remembers his mother and
father, and what happened to them.)

Sawyer: Yes, I have.

(Scene switches to the caves. Jack is looking through his medical supply.)

Ana-Lucia: So this is your little paradise camp at the west side of Murder Island, huh?
Pretty.
Jack: Hey, no one sees you as a murderer.
Ana-Lucia: I sure know at least two people that does.
Jack: Yeah?
Ana-Lucia: Yeah. Sayid. And myself.
Jack: You are not a murderer, Ana-Lucia. You killed Shannon in self-defence, you thought
that -
Ana-Lucia: I thought what, Jack? "Oh, something is coming through the bushes, it must be the
others, I have to shoot them!" Bam! Because that... is exactly what went through my mind.

(Jack looks at her and takes a few steps closer to her. Ana-Lucia looks at him. Jack looks
very serious.)

Jack: Have you met the others?

(Suddenly Michael comes through the bushes, very stressful. He looks around and looks at
Jack and Ana-Lucia.)

Michael: Where are the guns?
Jack: What?
Michael (almost screaming): Where are the guns?!
Jack: Slow down, man! What are you talking about - where are you going?
Michael: Walt is alive. He's out there - with them!

(Jack looks at Michael frustrated.)

Jack: Look, you can't go out there unarmed and alone looking for Walt. God knows where he -
Michael: I don't have to be unarmed if you could just give me a gun.
Ana-Lucia: A gun won't stop them.
Michael: (Looks at A-L) Yeah, I've heard your story! But this is my story: I'm going to get
Walt, and no "others" can stop me. (Looks at Jack.) Niether can you.

(Jack looks frustrated, and Ana-Lucia just looks pissed off. Michael leaves - but he's
walking.)

(Scene switches to the beach, with Charlie looking at his Virgin Mary statue.
Then he looks up and sees Claire holding the baby.)

Eko: Where did you get that?
Charlie: (confused) What?
Eko: The statue. (pauses) The one with the heroin inside?
Charlie: Hey, how did you -
Eko: I won't tell her if you stop asking me why I know. I just want to know where
it comes from.

(Charlie looks suspicious.)

Charlie: We found it in a plane, about a half a mile into the jungle. Look, I'm not -

(Michael shows up walking out of the bushes.)

Charlie: Hey Michael, where are you going?
Michael: Would you like to do me a huge favor?
Charlie: Sure, what is it?
Michael: Help me find my kid.

(Michael walks away and Charlie follows. Eko looks at the statue.)

(Scene switches to the beach, with Kate cutting Sawyer's hair.)

Kate: Try to sit still.
Sawyer: I don't have to look like Brad Pitt - just cut the damn thing off.
Kate: All right. But just so you know it - I accidentally made my friend loose like 70%
of her hair once. We were cutting each others hair just for fun, and suddenly I found
myself cutting her hair shorter and shorter... Two hours later we went to the barber for
hair-extensions. You should have seen her mom, she was -
Sawyer: Got your point, I'll behave, ok? (Kate smiles) Yeah, this ain't so bad after all,
right Freckles?
Kate: It's a hell of a lot better than sitting in that hatch, typing in numbers every two
hours.
Sawyer: And a hell of a lot better than losing someone you love.

(Kate stops cutting and looks at Sawyer.)

Sawyer: Yeah I talked to him this morning.
Kate: How is he?
Sawyer: Well.. at least he talked to me. That's a good sign.

(Kate looks over to Shannon's grave, and she doesn't see Sayid sitting there anymore.)

Kate: Well, whatever you said, it seems to have worked.

(Scene switches over to Sayid walking in the jungle, not like he's going anywhere -
just walking and thinking. Suddenly Michael and Charlie show up.)

Michael: Hey man, how are you?
Sayid: Where are you going?
Charlie: To the hatch, we're gonna get Walt.
Sayid: What? You know where he is?
Michael: All I know is that I'm going to get my boy, no matter what anybody says.

(Michael starts walking)

Sayid: Michael, wait. There's something I need to tell you about Walt.
Michael: I'm listening.
Sayid: Shannon saw Walt a few times before she died. At the moment I didn't believe her.
No one did. I thought she was just exhausted.
Charlie: She was! She was hallucinating!
Sayid: Let me finish! But right before she was shot I also saw him in the jungle. And I
know what I saw. It was Walt, but maybe not the real Walt. Maybe he wanted us to know
something.
Michael: So you're telling me you want to help me find him?
Sayid: I'm telling you not to lose faith in what you believe. I wanted to believe that
Shannon really saw Walt, but I didn't - and I'm so sorry about that. If you believe that
Walt is out there, then don't let anyone come in your way. Get your son back.
Michael: Thanks man.
Charlie: I'm sorry I didn't believe her. I -
Sayid: Don't mind.

(Sayid walks away towards camp and Michael and Charlie continues their walk.)

I can totally see the episode being just like that! Genius!

Part 2

(As Sayid watches Michael and Charlie walk away, we FLASHBACK. We see Sayid standing at an
airport, but this is not the airport in Sydney, and looks like a few years ago.
Sayid walks up to a counter.)

Sayid: I want a ticket to Hamburg, Germany.
Agent: Ok, when do you want to leave?
Sayid: As soon as possible.
Agent: Let's see... we have a flight that leaves at 4:23 pm, and then another at 8:16 pm.
Sayid: I'll take the first one, please.

(Sayid looks around. He sees a white man standing and looking at him.)

Sayid: Where is the toilet?

(We see Sayid walk into a toilet. He pulls up some documents out of his case, and we see him
pull up a picture of the man he just saw. It says his name is Robert Carter.)

Carter: Found you.
Sayid: This isn't a game of hide 'n' seek.
Carter: Then why does it feel like it is? (Sayid starts packing his documents again.)
I've been following you through Russia, Thailand, Brazil, Spain, and now we're on a toilet
in Italy. To me it sure does seem like a game of hide 'n' seek. I've found you, but you're
not willing to give up.
Sayid: You know I will never give up.
Carter: Why? Why go all around the world to find this woman? It's not like you can't get
an other lady, I mean, you're a wealthy man, Jarrah. All those money your family got
through that oil-company... man, you could go to the States and become the next Trump if you
make some good investments. But maybe you're just weak. You don't want people to know what
happened to your family.
Sayid: Don't you dare bring that up.
Carter: Ok. I won't. But just so you know it: I'll keep following you around.
Sayid: You do that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a plane to catch.

(Sayid rushes out of the toilet.)

(We're back on the island. Eko looks at the Virgin Mary statue in his hand.)

Claire: What is it about that thing anyway?
Eko: Excuse me?
Claire: Oh, nothing. I was just thinking out loud. (pauses) Are you a religious man?
Eko: Yes, very much so.
Claire: Charlie is too, you know. Well, at least he says he was.
Eko: Do you ever wonder if he's telling you the truth?
Claire: What are you saying?
Eko: Sometimes you need to think of what people's real intentions are. Like this. Do you
think it's just a statue? Then you're wrong.
Claire: It sure looks like "just a statue."

(Eko rises up and puts the statue on a table. He takes his stick and crushes the statue.
We see all the heroin that was inside. Claire is stunned, but then she looks angry.
Eko looks at Claire again and then leaves. Claire is close to tears.)

Claire: Charlie... who are you?

(Scene switches to Jack looking at Kate and Sawyer cutting his hair. Suddenly Locke shows
up with Hurley behind him.)

Locke: We're going away for some golf and I hear you're the best golfteacher on this island.
Jack: (kidding) What? Locke is out of the hatch? Now, that's a shocker.
Locke: Yeah, I could use some daylight.
Hurley: Jack, you gotta help me here dude. Locke is a total disaster when it comes to golf -
Locke: I'm standing right here Hurley...
Hurley: - he's worse than me and he's been bugging me off since this morning that he wanna
learn how to play golf, so I figured: let's ask Jack.
Jack: (looks at Locke) You wanna learn how to play golf?
Locke: Yes, I'd like that.
Jack: (looks again at Sawyer and Kate) Well, I'm busy. Ask Sun, she's better than me.
Hurley: Sun? Well where the hell is she?
Jack: Probably with her husband. Now, I'm busy, so...
Hurley: Yeah yeah, we're going.

(Jack looks back at Sawyer and Kate. You can see the jelaousy in his eyes.)

(Scene switches to Sun and Jin in a tent eating something.)

In korean:

Sun: Have you learned any english?
Jin: A little. But it would be easier if I had my own private teacher.
Sun: I'm all yours. (they kiss)

(Claire shows up.)

Claire: Hey, oh, sorry to disturb you guys. I was wondering if you could watch Aaron for a
while? Not long, I'm just gonna -
Sun: Of course. We'd love to.
Claire: Thanks.

(Claire hands the baby to Jin whose face is like "What? You're giving ME the baby?"
Claire runs off.)

Sun: Boy, was she in a hurry... (korean:) He seems to like you!
Jin: Well, I'm good with babies.

(They laugh. After a while we see Hurley and Locke turning up in the background.)

Hurley: I'm telling you - Jack is the one who should end up with Kate.
Locke: I think she and Sawyer are more alike. People who are more alike is drwan to each
other and -

(Hurley sees Jin and Sun.)

Hurley: Hey Sun! I could really use your help. You know how to play golf, right?
Sun: A bit, yes.
Hurley: You gotta to help me, man. (whispers to Sun so Locke won't hear.) Listen, this guy
apparently MUST know everything. He's been bugging me off about learning golf all day and
- I just wanna get rid of him! So he's all your's now, thanks dude.

(Hurley runs off as fast as he can, and the scene ends with Locke smiling at Sun.)

(Scene switches to Eko walking in the jungle. He disapperas through some bushes, and then
we see Claire a few feet behind him. She was following him, and now she lost track of him.)

Claire: Oh, what am I doing?

(Claire turns and heads back.)

Sayid: Where's the baby?
Claire: Hey Sayid. Oh, he's with Sun and Jin. They love taking care of him. How are you
doing? I'm sorry about Shannon.
Sayid: Yeah. I'm okay I guess. I've lost so many loved ones before I've kind of...
gotten use to it. I know how to handle it.

(Claire looks at Sayid and it's scilent for a while.)

Sayid: I'd really like to take care of him sometime too... if I may?
Claire: I don't know you that well, Sayid, but... I admire you. Everything you've been
through - and still you want to help people. To me it seems like you're the kind of
person who sees the good in things. That's a gift.
Sayid: I'm not as good as people may think. I've got my bad sides too, you know.
Claire: Yeah. Everyone has, right? Especially Charlie.
Sayid: What?
Claire: Yeah, Charlie. He said he was clean from drugs but he lied to me. He had this
statue full of heroin in his bag. Now, I don't know if I can trust -
Sayid: He was a drug-addict?
Claire: IS a drug-addict.

(Claire starts walking ahead of Sayid as he stands there remembering he was the one who
showed the herion to Charlie. And from that...

...we flashback to Sayid on a boat at summer. He walks by a Swedish flag and we realize
that he's in Stockholm. Then the scene switches to Sayid walking down a street and going
into a library. He sits down by a computer and types in the name "Abed-Jazeem". We see four
results for his search - four adresses and telephone-numbers in Stockholm that
is registered in that name. Sayid takes his cellphone and calls. A woman answers.)

Voice (in Swedish): Hello?
Sayid: Hello, have I come to the Abed-Jazeem family?
Voice: Yes. Who is this?
Sayid: (pauses before he answers) It's me, Amal. It's Sayid.

(We see Sayid sitting in an apartment with a woman in her early 50's.)

Sayid: So what are you doing these days?
Amal: I've been hired on this company that is doing some research in different things, like
human nature and other biolocigal and global things.
Sayid: So your studies are finally used! Well done.
Amal: Maybe not. I have to move to another country because of the job, and so I must leave
Ahmed and Zozo here - alone. And I don't want to do that.
Sayid: They're 20 and 24 years old. They'll be fine.
Amal: So, what brings you here?
Sayid: I want to know where Nadia is.
Amal: Nadia? I don't understand you, are you talking about my Nadia?
Sayid: Yes. Your daugther.
Amal: It's been years since I heard from her. Last time I talked to her I was still living
in Iraq and she was calling from Paris. She said she was going to take care of herself from
that moment on. She said not to look for her, so I haven't.
Sayid: Well, I've been looking for her.
Amal: Have you found her?
Sayid: No. So far I've only found her mother, who I thought was going to lead me to her.
But I guess I was wrong once again...
