edit: geeze, I thought installation was going to be tricky but it was actually quite easy!

I had to install a Torrent programme though...thanks again!

(I just hope it'll work when I start ripping my DVDs)

yeah, it only takes about two mins to instal. did for me anyway. and it comes with a keygenerator

let me know if you have issues and ill see if i can help. i didnt have to download a torrent program but i may have already had one on there

I do have a question! How do I rip clips and not whole episodes? I think it takes too long to do a whole ep.

I can answer this; yay!

next to the drop down box labelled "Subtitle" is a little video camera pic. once the dvd is in you'll be able to select that. if you hover the mouse over it it says "Preview or select a clip to rip" click on that and a preview window will come up and you can choose what you want to use. I forget what its called but you'll get a list at the bottom of this new window with buttons like 'play' 'pause' and 'stop'. click the one at the end when ur at the point you want to start and then click it again wen ur at the end of the footage you want

then rename the file whatever you want and click Accept or Ok or whatever it is. Hope that makes it easier!

Lol! No, it's actually Ana! Well, Michelle anyway. I manipped it myself. It's not very clear but it's Michelle from a movie she did. It does look like Claire though. And thanks, I like it too ^_^

edit: omg, I just finished ripping a clip and when it finished it made a cute little noise (lol)

I think I broke it already.

Seriously though, I have been using it all afternoon and it worked perfectly fine. But now when I moved on to my third disc of S2 it's suddenly telling me there is a problem with the registration code and closes down. I entered the code in again and tried ripping again but the same message comes up. Do you think it will stop doing that? Have you had this problem yet, Kat?

I havent had that problem yet, no. did you register before you started ripping? I did; but i dont know that that will make a difference. i suppose if it keeps giving you issues delete it and download it again; not like it takes long, right? haha

i just deleted the program and now im gonna download again

ill let you know if that fixes it

or at least gets it working again for now

evil program; works for three days then f**ks up

this is the actual site. I got the first one and i think its just a trial version but i just used it and it works

so that's better than nothing

And thanks, that'd be great if you could find a new one! It's such a shame cause this one was so easy to install and use!

yay, glad you saw it

i think its a bit slower then the other one but i dont care; it works

maybe there's a different key generator out there that'll work; ill search and let you know

also, dunno if you did this, but i went into Add/Remove programs and removed everything that said Magic before i downloaded the newer version

just to get the old stuff out
