OOOOOOMG I just saw it last night, and my GOD it was goood!!!!! I totally adore it!! I have to buy the DVD when it will be released... or maybe I'll go see it again... cause man, that movie rocked!!
oh and I fell inlove with Adrian Brody, my gosh he's gorgeous

he and Naomi Watts fit so wonderfully good together , hehe

But I must say that I didn't know anything about the King Kong story, besides that it was about a gigant monkey and a little crazy filmmaker that was looking for him, & that it edns with him climbing up Empire State Building... And a boat ... or something, lol. My friend read the comic book when she was a kid and she tried to tell me what it was about, but it didn't make sence.. haha. But anyway, to my point: I was pretty shocked when dinosaures showed up on that island! especially T-rex

but it was good, though I'm not a big fan of spinders and other bugs, and you can just imagine my face when those really yucky and disgusting thingies that were eating some mans head turned up in the scene... that was grose.

Otherwise, I think I've become an ever bigger Peter J-fan after this movie. You could really scense that LoTR kinda feeling in the movie, with all the mountains and his will to do films with weird unatural people (Orchs in LoTR and the island-people in KK).
All I wanna say is: GO SEE IT!

and here's a description I heard in the theatre during the movie.

Silence, until Kong came in and al the way through to the point where Ann tells Kong the sunset is beatufiulI heard: Some stupid bitch behind me going "oh my God! Oh my God!" Then when Ann is crawling away to run: "He knows." Then the whole Kong/V-Rex fight: laughter and "Oh my God!"

So, at some point I was about to just yell at her to shut the hell up.

I'm sure I'll get yelled at (my mom already yelled at me for saying it) but I thought this film was much better than all three LOTRs (expecially TT

)

The entire cast was fantastic in it. I was surprised ow good Jack Blacck was in it, I was worried ever since I found out he was gonna be in it. I am a Jack Black fan but I wasn't sure if he could do it.

Naomi Watts was outstanding in it.

Emotional.

This film was MUCH better than boththe original and the 70s one. I think the movie is better without the scene where Kong strips Ann's clothes off.

Great movie. I cried. It's true.

You think that's bad? When I went to see "Return of the King" there was a bald guy next to me laughing whenever Gollum or an orc came on.

You had to be there to believe it.

It was one of those moments where everyone in theatre around you is dumb. Like, the mom who brought her 4-year-old to see WOTW.

They were gone as soon as somebody got zapped.

I was kind hoping the theatre would be like Corpse Bride was, me and my family were the only ones in Corpse Bride who weren't goths.

Goths are quiet.
