Thank you thank you THANK YOU!

I've been trying desperately to find a short tutorial just to get me started on the basics and you've done it! Everything else I find has FAR too much infomation. This is great, you've touched on the basics for beginners and I'll be free to experiment from there Also I'm gonna have to try some of those effects!

*gets excited about finally learning how to use Premiere*
