Wow. Luckily you picked a simple 1,2,3 subject to ask for help on.
Here is how to make a music video in 3 easy steps the MoreLight way:
Step 1
Find a song that you like and can vid a theme/idea from LOST.
Step 2
Find episodes and clips that fit this theme.
Step 3
Use a video editing software (I use Sony Vegas, but there are many types from the free but crappy Windows Movie Maker to the extraordinarily expensive Adobe Premiere Pro) to combine the two.
Done.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask Hobbes! (just kidding)
Seriously though, just ask as you go along.
To get started you need a software to render the video and combine audio.
Windows Movie Maker is available to WinXP users for free and can be downloaded from the M$ site for the latest edition.
On my website I have links to three people who describe in detail how to use Vegas software (~$449), Vegas Movie Maker software (~$79), ULead (~$99) and Premiere(~$699). Follow the link:

Although these software are different in the details, the basic ideas remain the same and if you have the patience to read and try them out you have the ability to make your own video.
Good luck!
p.s. Here is a link to the Microsoft pseudo tutorial on making a video with their Win Movie Maker 2:
