I actually made 2 versions of the intro thingy.
one with Evanescence - Tourniquet
and the other Lifehouse - Spin

I decided to submit the first one since it turned out better.

what about you guys?

I think the contest for March is a great idea! It's probably good for newbies, too, (like moi), because they don't have to complete an entire 2 1/2-4+ minute video as their FIRST vid. Now I can stop bugging people in the vidding help forum and just make one of these

! Lol. Even I can make something like this! (Having said that, I'm probably going to have the hardest time of everybody to make it... lol). This'll be fun. Can't wait to work on mine! (I love being busy)

Under 1:30 huh? Wow. Challenge indeed. At least I won't drift off watching any of the entrees. It makes sense though, credits shouldn't really be too long. There are a lot of actors to credit though. This will be fun to do and fun to watch.

I know I already posted my link somewhere on this board. But does anyone want to post their contest submissions? I didn't see anything in the rules about this and since we're not voting on it and it's being judged by the council, maybe we could make a post where we share our submissions.

It would be interesting. I'm really interested to see everyone else's!

Yeah, I'm curious to know if this is gonna be cool or not as well. I've finished my entry (not great, not likely to win) but I'm ready to share. However, if it's decided entries should wait to be shown until after the deadline, I'm coolio with that as well.

I have no problem with it. The Council isn't easily swayed so I'm not worried about public opinion swaying any votes. It's cool with me if you guys want to do that. You're spending the time to make them so they deserve to be seen even if they don't win.

btw DONT use yousendit for this, we keep them til the end of the month, THEN judge them, so either upload them to email or host somewhere else, or else we'll be asking you for a new link come end of March
