You mean like a tint or a screen of some kind? LOL. I don't know why I'm asking; I use Premiere so I'll be of no help.

| best I can think of is either take out the clip and edit in another program, or overlay a fade clip with that certain colour over it. but this WILL leave it at some point as just pure red or whatever it is you used, because stupid WMM doesn't have a fade feature where the fade just OVERLAYS it instead of fading to/from it. |

hey dicks stop dogging on WMM-I'll have you know CELLS is being make on it and it is the best thing since sliced bread. Anyways Cli I'm playing around with WMM while doing cells. I should be done with the video soon and you can ask me then "HOW DID YOU DO THAT?" Right now i'm not sure if i'm conceeded or have broken some WMM record, but we'll see. I can tell you how to tint, but just not with WMM. Give me a week LOL-l

| Sadly, I actually prefer WMM right now... just because I know it so well, and I've even thought up a few strategies to stop those crashes. Hell, I'll post them in another topic... |

Okay... I wasn't going to say anything, but...
when your editing software has a "How to keep it from crashing every 5 minutes FAQ" you know it is total shit. WMM's raison d'être was to be a knee-jerk reation to iMovie. For making very simple movies. It was made to be just good enough for the average windows user (AKA IDioT) to make a video of themself dancing around with their favorite song dubbed over (like the first iMovie commercials?). lol.
But... I also understand that it's the only free editing software out there, so yeah, take what you can get definitly applies. ...yes it's possible to make a decent vid with it. In fact most vids submitted to this site probably use it. That does not mean it is not shitty software.
