LOL
All my videos before this one were made with WMM and a picture editor called Paint Shop Pro, but this one was my debut into the program called Vegas 6. Watermarks are fairly easy, you just make the image you want, put it in Vegas, chroma key the background of it away, then use the pan/cropfeature to make it the right size and put it where you want on the video. You can also use levels to make the watermark less visble.
As for how you do it with WMM: It's not really all that possible but you can use some small text at the bottom of it to signiy it's yours... maybe. It might not look very nice though.. never tried it, I just went with a watermark this time in case someone wanted to use that plane scene I've seen a lot of vids using clips of mine, so hopefully this watermark stops it on this video.
Hope that helps! Just your helpful little glassball! I mean.... Hobbes! |

Amazing! I loved all of the birds and black smoke, etc, and the beginning was awesome! (ehm, aside from that, lovely as a whole). _________________ But touch my tears/with your lips

This was absolutely dream-like. Hobbes, you come up with the most original videos in my opinion. (Well, you're tied with Paul )
"Speed of Sound" was just...amazing. The animations were awesome and I can't even comprehend how long those took you to do. You have quite the patience but in the end it was worth it!

Wow, that was great. I didn't hate Locke! That is a sign of pure genius. Great vid. Amazing. It also makes me want Vegas, not that I'd have time to vid with it. Yeah! |

Your vid had everything - and ended up greater than the sum of its parts.
Just brilliant, brilliant. I almost hate to take it apart by describing the ways it was good.
The animation captured that sense of transport of the lost, frustrated locke into a new world, and new dimension, where he is released like one of those spirit birds, to face strange and wonderful things, his destiny.
You got his dark side, too, the obsession, the despairing, the hungry daemon driving him.
I appreciate your technical description of some of your effects; all of them knitted your story together, they weren't just flashy show but created the mood and told the story. So geez, you are my hero. |

Just thought I'd add, I've viewed dozens and dozens of Lost fan vids, elsewhere and here, and rarely comment. Yours is the best I've seen so far. |

I can't even begin to thank you enough for such a nice and thoughtful comment, Sarah, so I wont
KC - thanks for the viewing! If I can convert a Locke hater, even for a minute or two, I feel like I fulfilled my purpose |

A week later, and I still haven't moved your vid off my desktop. It's more convenient that way, since I am clicking on it to watch once or so everyday.
Heh! It holds up with repeated viewing. |
