Apple announced a video iPod today and in iTunes 6 you can now download Music Videos and TV shows. Including LOST!

eps are avaliable to download the day after they air and they only cost 1.99.

of course, they're not quite HD quality and they're DRMed, but still...

Isn't that awesome?

yeh - unfortunatly the non-video ipods don't have the ability to play video aparently.

but still - now you can legaly buy the new eps of Lost on iTunes and watch them on your computer! hmmm, i wonder if they would be easier to work with in vegas... i assume they will be .mov format. Although the DRM might throw a fit if it thinks you're trying to copy it =...

but hell, for 1.99 an ep, i may just try it out. It may be worth it to be able to edit vids quicker and be able to easily use the shows soundtrack in vids. who knows.

not yet. i have to install iTunes6 and create an account first.

plus i don't think they're avaliable till the day after it airs. I guess the advertisers would be mad if they released it right at airtime. lol. stupid advertisers.

ok I just checked, they have up to ep3 of season 2 available for download.
and Im updating my ipod software..maybe Apple will be so kind and let my iPod play videos too.

oh and btw I have all of my season 2 eps converted to Mpeg so now I can work with sound on Vegas. Yay!! which u could prolly see in my season 2 promo vid.

i'm doubtful it will work, but let me know if u do manage to get vid on you ipod...

ah - i was wondering if thats how u were able to use sound...
so, you have lost season 1 in mpeg for vidding ...and Divx for watching too? wow, how many gigs of your drive is filled with lost video?!
