Hi everyone,

So I've been trying to rip a DVD for a long while! Recently, I discovered one ripping tool and conversion tool that actually worked and left the video in good quality!

Imagine my disdain when I discovered that when I bring it into Vegas, the video turns very pixelated and choppy and just UNUSABLE!

I turned my XVID AVI into DIVX AVI, which has worked in the past just fine!

Have anyone had this happen to them in the past? What was the problem? More importantly, what was the solution?!

Thanks in advance!

After you rip it try rendering the movie (or clips you need) in Windows Movie Maker and see if that changes anything.

My DVD ripper and Vegas don't get along; I have clips that are great; but once I try to use them in Vegas they come out skipping/going blank and having the music go out, but when I render the ripped clip into Windows Movie Maker it works fine.
