I'm planning a vid with a lot of voiceovers and such in it, so I need instrumental music, but I hardly ever listen to instrumental music, so I'm not even sure where I'd find anything.

I don't even know what, exactly, I'm looking for - something epic, but not, like, too loud? Anyone have any suggestions, or an idea of where I could browse around? I suppose I could use Spotify or something, but I've never used Spotify so I'm not quite sure how it works, lol.

The best place to look is movie scores.

This band is an instrumental music band and they oven provide pretty beautiful and epic music.

Moby often does instrumental music; and his stuff is really beaitiful.

This song is one of my favorites.

Mogwai is another good instrumental band.

Alexander Desplat, Hans Zimmer, James Horner, Thomas Newman are all really good film composers.

The instrumentals from the Lost Soundtracks are always good.

David Michael Frank (The Mole Soundtracks) is one of my favorite composers. Here's an example of one of his songs:

This is my personal playlist of Instrumentals. Some are instrumentals of pop songs, other are by independent artists.

This guy has alot of really good instrumental music:

I also reccomend movie soundtracks. I've found the Doctor Who and Torchwood soundtracks are the best

Two Steps from Hell is another group that specializes in scores. Their stuff is really epic. A lot might be too loud for what you want, but check them out because some of their stuff is quieter.

Kevin Macleod is another one that does these types of songs, and his are actually up for grabs with credit. I couldn't find his YT channel, but a lot of it is on YouTube and here's his web site: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/

Also, video game soundtracks are great sources. Assassin's Creed is one that I've heard lately that has some pretty/epic music.
