Enchirito mentioned this in another post in response to Zita's "Lost Theme" vid, and I want to know if there's going to be a challenge to create a "Lost" opening title sequence.

I'm so on board if there is going to be one. I have a song in mind already

In fact. I would absolutely LOVE it if the council (and possibly other vidders) could post challenges and give a certain amount of time to complete them.

I think it would add a really interesting element to the site.

I ADORE challenges and I'm sure there are other vidders here who would agree with me.

Also, just want to say, I love that you guys created a forum in addition to the main vids page. It adds an aspect of community that I find really enjoyable.

We are indeed contimplating the challenge idea, and it looks a lot like the introduction will be the one to go for too! We're still waiting for the final vote, but seems so, so you'd better get started on that video

Now that idea of other member challenges... there's a good idea

I think a great joke for a Lost opening sequence is if someone could make a music video using the song that Dominic Monaghan and Jimmy Kimmel made up when Jimmy Kimmel Live! visited the set of Lost. I think there is a mp3 of that somewhere...

I also think challenges area cool idea and think the Lost theme would be a nice one to add or start off with for challenges. But that's just my two cents.

We're working on the specifics of a video challenge in the council. Hopefully we'll have something definite to tell you guys about in the not to far future. We're just now finally getting into the swing of things and getting a good system in the works, so we've finally found the time to discuss things like challenges and what not. We'll keep you guys informed as we know more once all the council members have a chance to throw out there ideas on the specifics of this idea.

We're working on all of the specifics and Enchirito is looking into setting up a special section on the site for contest rules, time frames, and a special place to highlight the winning videos.

But yes there will be a specific time frame to work within. Take us letting you know it's in the works as a chance to get ahead of the game
