We pronounce "data," "mayonnaise," and "syrup" differently -- I think "New Orleans" was slightly different too, haha! And you said 'daddy-long-laiiigs' to my ears -- slightly more Southern.

The survey is terribly dorky -- but entertaining!

At least you don't say 'cyoo-pon'! That pronunciation makes my eyelid twitch, every time!

(No offense to anyone who does pronounce it that way. I don't have a Noo Yawk accent or anything, but I do do the 'Nyork' pronunciation, which probably triggers people's buttons too, haha.)

Coupon. People put a 'y' in there and every time I hear it, it's like Terminator must destroy. Might be just a Northeastern pronunciation, though?
