He got ripped for I, Alex Cross; playing the villain, Picasso.
After Washington DC detective Alex Cross is told that a family member has been murdered, he vows to track down the killer. He soon discovers that she was not his first victim and that things are not what they seem.
This is called Emperor Matthew plays General Bonner Fellers.
As the Japanese surrender at the end of WWII, Gen. Fellers is tasked with deciding if Emperor Hirohito will be hanged as a war criminal. Influencing his ruling is his quest to find Aya, an exchange student he met years earlier in the U.S.

He looks really different in I,Alex Cross.I wouldn't have recognized him right off.
I prefer his Emperor look,especially the first pic with him in the suit.

| He looks more like himself in the next movie; but he's also supposed to be a ruthless killer in I, Alex Cross; I can't wait for I, Alex Cross it'd be so different to see him as the villain I can't wait. |

I want him to be in the Mass Effect movie that they are doing. I would die happy as a geek if they did that

To be honest I don't think that DUI will hurt his career. Nor will the incident that happened in Cleveland with the party bus driver. Pretty sure he got the Emperor job after that. (Plus I don't think it happened. I think if it happened he wouldn't have taken her to court about it. Plus she changed her story in every interview).
I'd like to know an actor or actress that doesn't. And a few other Lost cast members had them during the series and the running joke was their characters were killed because of that.

I can't wait to see World War Z either; I like Brad Pitt as well. I also love the title.
I too wait him to play the Mass Effect character.
I think we've seen that Fox can bulk himself up for a role; and slim down. |

Sorry, Brooke. I really wasn't trying to harp on him or anything like that. I agree that what has happened so far won't hurt his career, and as you said there's evidence of that since he's still getting some great projects. I only meant that I hope we aren't seeing the beginnings of a downward spiral. I'm sure we're not, but it's always a concern when a talented actor has a sudden rash of behavior like that. I really adore MF so I want to see him continue to do well and be happy.
