Anyone know any good instrumental songs for an AU vid? It's probably going to be quite long with plenty of sadness/angst but also action-y type scenes too. If not I might have to try and combine some songs.

I have plenty of instrumentals I like but when I come to actually vid with it I can never find something that'll fit! Any help would be appreciated, even if it'll just point me in the direction of artists who might have something that'll work

Explosions In The Sky are great; they are a instrumental band; they composted the Friday Night Lights Score (the movie, not the show).

Roger Eno and his brother Brian Eno always have great instrumental stuff.

Alexandre Desplat, Clint Mansell, Henry Jackman, Hans Zimmer, James Newton Horward, and John Murphy are all great composers.

I personally like alot of the instrumental music by David Michael Frank, he composed music for one of my favorite shows The Mole. The three below would be more fitting for a sad song, but he also has some that would be good for action, and even some upbeat stuff.I'd suggest searching 'The Mole
Soundtrack' if you'd like to check out any of his other songs.

This guy composes his own insturmentals and posts them on Youtube. He's got alot of good stuff, so you might check this channel out.

If you like Evanescence, this channel has some good instrumental versions of their songs.

Lost Soundtracks are good too. Life and Death is a beautiful sad song.Usually the last couple songs on each album are 6-7 minutes long and usually are somewhat sad.
