I was pretty skeptical about the change at first, but now I'm super excited to submit some of my other vids.

SO excited!!! I'm super glad LVI will still be here for so many years to come, and I love getting to share some of my other vids on here, and be introduced to new fandoms!

I've definitely been thinking in my head which vids I can submit on here hee hee.

We're back able to post vids again (as you may have noticed

). However, please note that we're not yet ready to accept vids solely for other fandoms. Lost and Lost-crossover vids are fine to submit but please hold off on submitting vids for other fandoms until we make the announcement to give the go-ahead.

Ais, any ETA on the Other Fandoms opening up? I know that's a horrible, crystal-ball question, but am curious if it's a days, weeks, or months type thing (and won't hold you to the answer or anything jerky like that.)

I wish I had a good answer for you, Kate, but the honest one is just "it'll be as soon as possible."

If I had to be pinned down, I'd probably take the middle of the road there and say weeks. But it could suddenly have a great breakthrough and come together a lot faster or it could have a disaster and get set back.

There's still a TON of behind-the-scenes work going on beyond the visible changes already made on the forum and main site. We want to make as sure as possible that every part will work and be as stable as possible before we bring in the other fandoms. And that just unfortunately takes time. But it will hopefully be within this month, if at all possible!

As eager as I know everybody has to be, believe you me, nobody is as eager as the CMs are to finally get to throw open the doors to a multi-fandom LVI!

Not only do we vid other fandoms as well, but this has been in active planning for more than a year (we started before Lost's final season began). So we're very ready to see it finally reach that launch date and set sail at long last!

Ooo... I got all excited because there was a new banner, and then it changed! So either it's a rotating banner or they're testing out different ones to see how they look. Either way, I am FLAILING with excitement over here!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

ETA: I forgot to say that I thought it was cool that when I saw the new banner (either up or being tested out), the newest video happens to be titled "Life Starts Now".

Just so you guys know (a little technical thing)... I don't think the new banners are working on Google Chrome or IE.

I can see it using Firefox though, and it looks amazing.
