I'm not sure I'll be able to enter this month but I wanted to check on a couple of pairings in case I do.

Could I use Claire and the Pilot? There's a deleted scene with them together at the airport but as far as footage that was actually shown as part of an episode they never shared a scene.So would that pairing work or not?

What about Jack and Libby? I know they were around each other for season 2 but did they ever actually have any spoken lines or real scenes together?

Hey Macaila!

Mainly what you need to keep in mind while choosing your couple is that we're looking for characters that never met.

Jack and Libby did have a couple of scenes together, most notably her death scene.

As for Claire and the pilot, they have a little more leeway since that was a deleted scene but it's been fairly widely seen. (I actually couldn't remember at first if it was in the show or not to tell you the truth

since I've just seen it so much.

)

I'd forgotten about how involved Jack was in Libby's death scene.I liked Libby but I don't have a great memory of her scenes.I still might play around with a video idea I had for them and if it turns out any good I'll submit it as an AU video and not as part of the contest.

I thought maybe the deleted scene with Claire and the pilot might disqualify them for the contest but I wasn't sure so I wanted to check.

I'll keep thinking and maybe I'll think of a good pair to do a video about.
