Hey, does anyone have a good song idea for Jack in season 1? I'm a little stumped. :/

I kind of wanted something slow-ish (not like crazy rock-n-roll/metal) - maybe like a contemporary/indi-rock vibe. Even if it's instrumental it would be cool. Something similar to Coldplay or Snow Patrol sound.

Any ideas?

Hmm, I don't know about a slowish song but a while ago I made a request that never really got filled. I used to think "In The Shadows" by the Rasmus would make a good Jack song.

I would love if you gave that a try, could work?

Lyrically, 'Don't Let Us Get Sick,' by Warren Zevon: To me, it seems a pretty fair assessment of Jack's state of mind as shepherd (har) in S1. (Please don't use a cover of the song; the Zevon one is really the only one anyone needs to hear.) It sounds nothing like Coldplay though.

For some reason, I think Talking Heads' 'Once in a Lifetime' works for Jack, too, although I can't quite put my finger on why. Maybe the sense of disorientation that runs throughout it. It's definitely got a worldbeat sound, which I think is similar to your references (not a fan of either, in the 'I don't listen to them' sense--not the 'I can't stand them' sense).

How about Dr. John by Mika. The lyrics kinda fit S1 Jack and the song's pretty chill.
