As LVI receives more and more new videos by the day, it's become apparent that a need has been growing for a new category in addition to our existing Action, Romance, Angst, Comedy, Drama, AU and Crossover.

So we're happy to announce the addition of the Trailer category!

Here is where all of your trailers can have a home, whether original (completely invented by you, such as for a Jate or Skate "movie") or whether based off of an existing trailer (such as using the audio from a real movie trailer now recast with Lost characters). Please feel free to edit your trailers already on site into this new category so they can be easily found. If you have any trouble editing your vid category, contact a Council Member and we'll be glad to help you!

We hope that you find this new addition helpful.

Keep an eye on this thread because there are already a few other new categories on the horizon which we hope to have available to you soon!

Question. The contest a few months back was for opening credits, would those vids count as trailers?

No, Erin, opening credits would not be sorted under the trailer category. That's for movie trailers, both original ones (created to look like a "real" movie) or mock ones (using real movie trailer audio with Lost footage) and the like.
