Maybe you could add an intro, or have your video start after 30 seconds. Sometimes that helps |

Quick (potentially dumb) question about the contest...can I have a build up to the fade to white, just as long as I show what also happened after the flash? Thanks huns!

WMG is Warner Music Group, who owns the rights to the band/artist whose song you've used in your vid and they're not allowing any of their artists' material to be used whenever they catch them in vids.  So unfortunately, that means that Youtube (who doesn't want to get sued by WMG) takes vids down or won't allow them to be uploaded in the first place if they detect you've used a song by one of the "not allowed" artists. Your only choice now will be to host the vid some place else. 
For streaming, some of your options are:
http://namastenikki.ning.com/
http://showyourvids.ning.com/
http://www.4shared.com/
Less permanent hosts (vids will "expire" after a set amount of time) that offer downloading instead of streaming:
http://www.mediafire.com/
http://zshare.net/ (offers streaming as well)
http://sendspace.com/
It's a good idea to use more than one hosting place if you can, to give your vid the best chance of having at least one working link when it comes time for it to be judged. |

We'll confer and get back to you, hon! Although, let me go ahead and ask, what will the bulk of the vid be about? If it's going to be a sorta 90% build-up and then the very end 10% be the after the fade to white thing, then I can already tell that that's not going to quite be what we're looking for for this contest.
Oh and that's not a dumb question at all! *swats your hand* When in doubt, it's better to ask! |

Well, right now, I'm not sure even how long its going to be, its focusing on the Jate and Suliet storylines and how the drop of the bomb changes them, but you cant see where you are going...if you dont know where you've come from. So as of this minute its about 1/2 and 1/2 But if needed I'll make it longer to accomodate. And if its not ok...than I'll just submit it as a non contest vid.
