Kate's pissing me off. She wants Aaron, she gives Aaron up....I wish she'd make up her mind. My hubby thinks that Widmore got to Kate by taking Aaron, and had Sayid arrested, and is now tracking them to try and find the island. I told him that it can be hard when the island moves through time, but we'll eventually find out.
Fantastic episode, and the promo for the next looks even better! LOST is certainly NOT disappointing.
1) This is all happening so gloriously fast! I thought it'd take all season to get them back to the island.

2) Did Kate give Aaron back to Claire's mom? It was still the same night as when they saw her at the motel room, so she would still have been there probably.

4) I am intensely curious to know how Sayid and Hurley ended up there. Sayid didn't seem all that shocked that they were there. I do think the guitar is a Charlie tip off with Hurley... but... funny how he had the blindfold. Like he knew what to expect with the flash!!!

5) How funny that Ben was reading Ulysses (which mirrors Homer's Odyssey). I wonder if that's another hint at Ben's "business" having been related to Penny and Desmond... Ben WAS at a marina when he called Jack and told him to go pick up Locke's body... POOR PENNY! I hope she survived if that's the case!

Okay. It was TOTALLY Charlie who told Hurley to get on that plane. I just wish we'd seen him. But oh well. It's cool that Hurley brought the guitar! It made me so happy to see it at the beginning.
That episode was AWESOME! Who told Sayid to get on the plane, and who was the woman he was with? And also, what was Ben doing before he got on the plane? Hunting down Penny? That was *my* first thought, but my mom thinks he went and hunted down Sayid and got beat up by him.
Speaking of Sayid, who else thought he looked uberly sexy in the episode? Heehee.
Hmm, what's up with Kate? Something about the way she's acting makes me think she didn't just give Aaron to Carole... I dunno, I guess she might've, but you'd think she'd tell Jack if that's all it was. Also, wtf up with them randomly having sex? That just seemed really really out of place.
Also, my first thought when Ms. Hawking was talking about the "smart fellow" who discovered the island was that it was Dan... Depends on how long ago it was, I guess... It's probably been awhile... But time is relative, on this show, apparently.

God, this season just keeps getting more and more awesome!!

I'm glad they're going back to the island fairly quickly, but my one complaint is that it seemed a little too easy - "hey, all you have to do is recreate Oceanic 815 as much as you can and tada!!" I thought for sure they'd have to go through some hoops to get back...
This was a great episode, but I am super duper wicked pissed about something:

Seriously, I get the tease. The whole "I made a promise to a friend" was great. Obviously, he was talking about Penny...but to just tease it like that...ugh....that was so freaking MEAN OF THE WRITERS!!!
I think I'm upset more than anything because I just want to know Des & Pen are okay. My mind kept slipping to worse case senarios, where Ben had to kill both Pen & Des and OMG! THAT CAN'T HAPPEN!!
Now that I've got that off my chest...*whew* Yeah, that was ker-azy!!!! _________________

gotta say, all in all i was pissed off with this weeks ep. similar to Cabin Fever where it seemed like not a lot of stuff happened and they were moving around too much. I LOVED how it started; but it went straight downhill from there for me. Mo one else is asking where Aaron is, Come on Jack; that's your nephew!!! Kate screwed over Jack again (the whole just cos we're on a plane doenst mean we're together thing as well as ignoring him at the airport really annoyed me. Yes, she's depressed over Aaron but dont use Jack and then go all cold to him. :S:S), the whole 'ALL of you have to go back thing seems useless now since Des simply walked away even tho the islands apparently not done with him, we haven't seen Penny since Jughead, no on-island stuff and we're introducing new characters RE: sayid's handler and weird sorry-for-your-loss guy who spoke to Jack.
The ending was cool!! i wanna know why Jin was in a shining Dharma van in a crisp new jumpsuit; maybe they're in the past and all the losties are working for Dharma

I've seen set pics of Sawyer, Sayid, Kate and Juliet in Dharma gear but i thought it was just to throw us fans off the scent; maybe not
anyway, i was underwhelmed, def, my least fave ep of the season. and with Cabin Fever, my least fave of all five seasons :S _________________

LOL well thats Kate for you! I honestly wasn't surprised at all by her actions...I think it would have been a little weird for her to be all lovey dovey...and that sex they had...that was just "I'm hurting make me feel better sex" For Kate. LOL that seems to be the only time she wants it. I think she is too heartbroken over Aaron to feel anything.
I think this was one of my favorite episodes so far this season. Super exciting and lots of Jate angst! Yay!! _________________

Yay omg amazing episode!
I have a lil theory that putting those shoes on John will allow him to come back alive on the island, because we know that Christain wasn't in the coffin when Jack found him in S1 so maybe there might be some connection there ;?
I wanted to smack Kate through this episode, what the flaming hell has she done to Aaron, it was like WTF!? And then the whole sex thing with Jack eeew!
Fantastic episode, I was quite intrigued to find out what happened to Ben and who caused him to look in that state.
I loved Hurley, and think that he probably had a message from Charlie again or someone telling him to go back to the island, possibly John now that he was dead. Loved also how he booked all the seats on the plane
My brother made me laugh because I was watching the episode with him and he said 'I reckon when Jack reads that letter the plane will crash' and I looked at him like
OMG! The ending, I loved it! I was like yay Jin! Love the whole him being in this new dharma suit! And yay for the waterfall again!

Ahhh I loved this episdoe!!! Even though I knew it was gonnah turf up some Kate hate I just feel sorry for her...she wouldn't just get rid of Aaron for no reason and she was obviously traumatized over it Must admit the whole laying down and getting jiggy with Jack was a tad confuzzleing but still...Jatey goodness is always nice

Yeah I thought the same thing! I think it might have been Charlie that helped get them to go back and somehow have something to do with the whole Aaron going missing. Really hope we get an episode to answer that! _________________
Wow...loved the intro...Jack opening his eyes...running through the jungle...saving Hurley(again as in Pilot) and Kate instead of Claire...the only difference is that Kate is not pregnant or at least we don't know yet after what they did the previous night no wonder...
Anyway...the episode was good i deffinitely enjoyed it a lot
The interesting thing is that on the plane they all were representing someone from the other crash
Sayid was a prisoner instead of Kate
The woman next to him was a marshall instead of the marshall
Locke was the dead man instead of Christian Shephard
The Guitar represented Charlie maybe...but it was nice
The Arab man(who said "I'm sorry" to Jack at the airport) was instead of Sayid.
And since Sayid is taking Kate´s place as prisoner...
that leaves us Kate...instead of Claire.... maybe pregnant woman....i know it's crazy theory but maybe Kate will break the curse with pregnant women dies on the island...why not?(i've seen other forums disscussing this and since i notice it too i'm bringing that topic)

I agree. I thought the opening and ending sequences were really great, but the episode left me feeling frustrated. I'm annoyed by how Jack and Kate acted. How can Jack be so nonchalant about Aaron? He was just sort of like 'ok' after Kate told him to never ask about what happened to his nephew...and then they have sex
And I'm worried about Penny. I hope Ben didn't do what I think he did
