Oops double post, *giggles* who am i kidding...i wanted to bump my post to pimp my stuff, i hope i don't get in trouble. Anyway i'm so, so excited for The Dark Knight, i can't wait any longer; so as a true fan of the Joker and Heath i decided too make some fan art..i promise that for my next batch i'll post some LOST art.

I don't usually do tutorials cause i'm not good at explaning, but a user from another board asked me how was i able to color Joker's face and take all the yellowish stuff; it is actually quite simple and i'm sure that this tutorial has many extra steps that can be ignored.

Here's how i did it if you are interested; i repeat that there are some useless steps i did, because honestly i was just randomly adding layers like i always do. You will need Photoshop:

1. You are going to duplicate your base and set it on Screen 55%

2. Now add a new "Selective Coloring" layer and use this settings:
Reds: -100, +8, +87, +35
Neutrals: -9, -2, +2, +3

3. Ok yes it looks more yellowish than it was before and this step will only make it even more. Add a new "Curves" Layer and use this settings: (this step was stolen from someone at lj, i usually use this on my LOST icons but right now i can't remember her/his username...if you recognize this please let me know)
RGB: I: 107 O: 157
Red: I: 131 O: 128
Green: I: 127 O: 129
Blue:
First dot: I: 74 O: 58
Second dot: I: 135 O: 113
Third dot: I: 204 O: 206

4. Right, now add a new Photo Filter layer: Color: ec8a00 [the default color], set it to softlight at 50%

5. Ok now here is the trick, you add a Selective Color layer and put this settings:
Reds: -40, +15, +13, +6
Yellows: +100, +11, -100, -30
Neutrals: +15, -10, -11, -8
