Yeah I don't think I have to explain mine. Or maybe I do. My real life name is KC (Yes, spelled that way and everything!) And I'm... super?

No, it's really more like a "Superhero" thing. I like the metaphores - though I'm admittedly not a comicbook fan. The title of my diaryland diary is "Superheroes are people too."

So it's my superhero alias. Though I'm pretty much giving myself away by putting my real name in there huh? That'd be like Clark Kent calling himself "SuperClark!" I coulda been Tupeeman or Hatgirl or something.

Actually, my first name is the letter K and my middle name is the letter C. It was an accident at the hospital. (Dude, they screwed up my name. I didn't even get out of the starting gates!) It was supposed to be KC with no middle name. But apparently, the people who typed up the legal paperwork are idiots! I've always gone by "KC" because that was the name my parents gave me, even if legally my first name is "K" - A letter for a name. How stupid! I didn't even know that was the case until I was 16 and needed my birth certificate to go get my driver's liscense. What a shocker. If I ever get married and have to change my name I'll probably fix it.

More often than not they think I'm lying and ask for my real name. Like when I'm applying for jobs or conducting financial transactions or am at the DMV and stuff. Who would give just initials for stuff like that?

Last summer I worked at a summer camp and they had to do a background check with the police, and they came back and were like, "They said they need your real name." And I am like, "That IS my real name! They're the police, they should know this stuff!

A lot of people think I'm ashamed of my real name and so they play these dumb games to try to get me to tell them what my real name is. And I am just like, "You don't get it. That. IS. My. Real. Name!" I usually have to break out the old DL or my little pocket laminated birth certificate to prove it to them.

With a name like that, you'd think that my parents are crazy or something and just name their kids weird crap. But my brother's name is "David." Go figure.

Wow you must get so annoyed when people don't believe you. Our surname is Kay and my mum's first initial is K so when like "official" people ask her what her first initial is she has to say K and then they ask her surname and she's like "kay" and they get so confused

My nickname comes from a line in the musical RENT. In the song "What You Own", there's the line: "the filmmaker cannot see and the songwriter cannot hear." So I took the first one (being an amateur filmmaker myself) and turned it into a name, blind.filmmaker. The period between the two words is just to look cool.

And now I'll tell you all a secret. Alita is not my real name, and that's a real secret because everbody thinks so XD and like it that way because I don't like my real name.
