Charmax, that was better than I could have ever hoped or dreamed for! I LOVE it. That is the best you've done, in my opinon.
By the way, love the new look for your site. _________________ I want to make videos like Charmax and LAURA4LAD when I grow up.

For some weird reason, it keeps coming up as an HTML document when I try to "save as"... What in the world am I doing wrong, now?
Wah, a cool Sawyer vid that I can't see!!!

Yeah that link is for the whole lost page. You need to click on the title "Shadow of the sun" then you will be taken to a page of it's own for that video.
Anyway here is the vids individual page.

Thank you very much, Charmax! I did try going directly to your site, but clicking on the title kept giving me the HTML document thing. So I kept playing around with it and one of the times it worked! Who knows the mysteries of the Internet?
Anyway, I've started it downloading a while ago and it ought to be in in about another hour (ah, the joys of dial-up! Oh well, it's better than nothing!). I'm so looking forward to seeing it! Everything I've read so far has got me thoroughly intrigued!

Okay, you're not going to believe this, literally a few seconds before I posted this, the file download suddenly "completed" with only 51% of it in. So I tried unzipping the file only to be told that it's invalid! Okaaaay... Clearly I'm just jinxed! I'll try it again, but this is certainly making me feel like an idiot!
I'll just blame it on dial-up again, that usually works...
Seriously, though, thanks for taking time to answer me! |

Yay, the vid finally came in!
Charmax, what can I say? I'm just blown away. This was the most technically beautiful vid I've ever seen in my life! I mean, you did things with video that I had no idea could even be done on a quote/unquote "fan" level!
Come on, fess up: you work for ILM or somebody, now don't you?
Seriously, though, this is a gorgeous vid. Not only did you clearly have a vision for it, you executed that vision flawlessly with things like your use of black and white and stunning fade overs. I'm just awed (and I now have taken my idea for a Sawyer vid and theoretically buried it in the back yard... There's no way I'm going to even try competing with that! )
Excellent, excellent work.

Aislynn you persevered! Really though, I’m just a little fan girl with an addiction. Nothing more. I'm really pleased you enjoyed it and I'm very happy that it's being downloaded as much as it is. Sorry Aislynn and sorry to any one else who has dial up, the video is quite a large one. Again thank you for taking the time and commenting. I'm a happy bunny!
And you should do your vid! Everyone has their own style/method. Go for it! Don't let anything/anyone put you off. _________________ ~~Charmax~~

hey, I was just wondering what software you used to make that vid? It was so awesome! Right now, I'm just stuck with Windows Movie Maker. |
