Okay, if you don't know who Brent is, he's David Brent from The Office from the UK. Great show, blah blah blah. Go buy it in stores now.
I was wondering, anyone seen this show? I'm sure someone has.
Anyway, here the best David Brent moment of all time: The Dance |

The British version of The Office is awesome. American version: rubbish.
There are many great David Brent moments. I'm not sure I like the dance as my favorite, but it's pretty damn good.
I'd have to go with Free Love on the Free Love Freeway. That's my personal favorite. Close runner up would be, "There's a RAPE upstairs!!" _________________

I love the rape line!
"I think there's been a rape up there!"
Followed by "sometimes the complaint will be false." |

i'm english so i've seen all the office i love the christmas special when tim and dawn got together and brent saw his date and swore. I'm quite interested to see the us version tho if anyone has any clips. i think it's probably like joey and friends, funny but just not the same as the original.
my all time fav brent bit is when he's telling the workers the bad news that some of them will lose their jobs then he tells them he got a promotion 'every cloud...' _________________

On the subject of Ricky Gervais, I just downloaded, er, I mean rightfully acquired through legal purchase two of his stand up specials. One is called Animals and the other is Politics. Both: Hilarious. _________________

I just wanted to put my two cents worth in... I loved the british version of this show... Ricky Gervais is a genius IMO, for coming up with such a brillant concept for a show. We are yet to have the American version shown here in Australia we got ads for it saying "coming soon" I am not sure if I'll watch it though coz I think it'll just be too much of a copy of the UK version.
It's like when the UK came out with 'Coupling' and then the U.S tried to do their own and I wasn't impressed.

Jake I have also seen Politics, which was so funny, I haven't got my hands on a copy of Animals yet though _________________ Pirates 3 - MAY 25th 2007!!! |
