Quote: | What an asshat. I want to know who "his man" is though. It'd be cool if it was Michael. I can picture it now. He comes in to the scene yelling "WALT!!?" Who will be next to take his boy? The frieghter people? hehe. I actually missed him though! |
LOL asshat! And I love the idea about Michael!!! Lol.
I don't think Clarie's lack of constant crying is bad. She's worried about Aaron still. I'm sure she's depressed but when push comes to shove and you're on Mystery Island trying to avoid psycho invaders you just have to push through it. After Shannon died and Sayid was tied to a tree he wasn't crying. And she doesn't have a body to look at, i'm sure she'd freak more if there was one. I think we'll see it later. _________________ <3 Jourdan

I hope so but some of us think that Claire didn't really care for Charlie that much and we're just constantly looking for signs that she does. She always yelled at him and didn't appreciate him enough so after her reaction in TBOTE I was expecting her to be a little more torn. But of course it can be understandable under her circumstances but still, I don't think after someone I had been close to died I'd be concerned over the freighter people and worrying if they were 'hurt' after I had just been warned they were out to "kill us all" You know? But I'm not crazy over it, I actually kinda expected it, ha. But I'm still hoping for a little moment where she has a good cry. |

I quite enjoyed the flashbacks about the boat people and the Locke/Ben storyline, but this episode felt to me like were heading back to the "Jack, Kate and Sawyer"-Show and that seriously sucks! That's all I can say about this episode... meh. _________________

I agree Jemma, I know it sounds really mean of me to say. But I would've loved to just see her breakdown, you know at least show a little emotion! Anyway...I'm really hoping that once things calm down and they get to the Other’s town, she will be able to really come to terms with what just happened. I think I wrote this before but… I think right now she's kind of in denial, I mean she hasn't seen his body, read the note, or found the ring. I think there is a little part of her that doesn’t believe or just doesn’t want to believe that he's gone. I think that this might be why she isn't acting as sad as we want to see her. Hopefully in a couple of episodes it will sink in and we'll be able to see her real reaction.....hopefully. _________________ Morgan

I agree. She found out about Charlie's death, then they found out about these people coming, they might mean them harm, etc, etc. I think she has a lot on her mind and Charlie's death hasn't really had time to sink in. And like Morgan said, she hasn't seen the list or the ring, or seen his body, so she's probably still in denial. _________________

I love the Jack/Kate/Sawyer and I'm gonna add Juliet show. I'm sorry Karolina but these are my favorite characters so my favorite episodes are the ones that revolve mostly around them. But I can understand where you are coming from if you are more interested in the other characters. I Hope we get some good episodes with Sayid and Des and Penny and all your favs!!

That's ok, Nikki *hugs*
My comment wasn't directed at any Jack/Kate/Saywer fans, but at the writers. You know, I'm just so frustrated about it because I have the impression that Season One and Two were much more balanced than Season Three when it comes to the characters and character developments. Season Three was definitely the Jaclk/Kate/Sawyer show and it looks to me like Season Four will be just the same.
I feel like I've been betting on the "wrong horse" in the past years because I'm a fan of characters like Des, Hurley, Sayid, Charlie or Claire.
Jack, Kate and Sawyer are the main characters of the show, no doubt about that, and they're very popular so they get a lot of screen time. That makes perfect sense to me. But I feel a bit "betrayed" though because they give the other characters less and less screen time in favour of the trio. It's like someone was telling me "You're a fan of Sayid? Ah well, bad luck then!!" So yes, I'm beginning to get quite bitter about it. _________________

Well, I don't think I liked this ep much.
Know why? Cuz it kinda undid everything that we've been building up to. All this drama over a little Scoobie- gang, out for Ben? Come on. I mean - yes, yes, I'm sure we'll find out this ragtag group of adventurers is much more menacing than they seem now, but... come on! Is this just turning into another one of those stupid Everyone Hates Ben episodes, where people are kidnapped, tortured, killed, etc etc, all because Ben's a crazy little manipulator and happens to know a bit about the island?
And, of course, no matter which side the Losties choose - "protecting" Ben by not letting them take him right away, OR giving him to them - they'll probably find out only moments later how bad that decision was, and why now they're all doooomed.
It's like.... the writers are playing both fields. Either the Scoobies are good guys - in which case, you just KNOW the Losties are going to accidentally kill them or strand them or something, and screw everything up. OR they're bad guys, and we'll find that out just after the Losties give them what they want and cooperate with them. Either way, it's completely predictable. It's just a case of which one. And that's... kinda boring.
But I do like the new characters, I guess. I just don't really want to have to bother with new characters at this point. There's still plenty of other dead weight to deal with that's clogging the airwaves (e.g. Juliette. No offence Julietters. Well, actually... kinda offense. But I'm hoping there aren't that many of you. And I'm sorry, I just.. don't like her. And she contributes nothing as a character anymore).
I was mad at Locke this ep. Let that be noted. He has a -1. That must be recovered.
It was partially recovered by one line though, since it's one of the funniest I've heard from Lost in a while (though probably unintentional). It's when Locke said "Sorry you got shot", as if that's a daily occurrence, "I didn't intend for that to happen." So good.
Oh, also, that was the FAKEST fossil dig I've ever seen. That was SAD. But I can't very-well blame them, since the second-worst fossil dig I've seen was the latest IMAX movie (that one with the undersea dinosaurs). I guess Hollywood just isn't meant to do proper anthropological acting.
Anyway, not such a great ep. But what-evs. |

Me! I do! And yes it's supposed to be ironic. Plus, it's about forty times more fun to say. You TRY! I think I stole it from Elle. |

well, at least it's supposed to sound ironic, rather than moronic.
Also - whoops, posted that last one in the wrong thread. lol. |
