I start trying to download a clip - and after the ads pop-up, zShare tries to make me install exe. files... WTF?
I clicked "ok" - because I thought it was the Jack clip I was downloading, and then before I realise whats going on, my virus program says: "New trojan detected and eliminated".
WTF. WTF. WTF. |

Yeah, I had tis problem, too, not so long ago. My antivirus program went completely nuts after those pop ups came up. Dunno if I want to use ZShare anymore because I had some huge trouble with a trojan recently. _________________

When did those asshats down at zshare get ad popups?! It's so annoying. They have them at fanfiction.net too! |

About a month back I think.
I suppose they realised how much money they could get after their site views went sky high..
(or that was their plan all along)
Now i've had to download a free trial of AVG to get the Trojan destroyed.
I've just gotta hope that I didnt activate it - because they can wipe your hard-drive |

Make sure not to have 2 antivirus programs on the computer at the same time or they can cause all sorts of conflict problems.
And about how AVG deals with a virus... I've never used it but I would imagine that it'll provide instructions. "Such and such virus has been discovered and here are your choices as to what to do..." Or it may take care of it automatically. I'm not sure exactly. (Yet that didn't stop me from answering, huh? )
As for zshare... GRRRRRRR!!! I've hated that new thing that it's been doing when you're watching something streaming on there and just before you get to the end of it, it sends you into an ad! Then you have to wait for the vid to stream all over again! GAH! *does NOT give zshare any cookies*
I don't use zshare anymore than I can help it just cause that really ticks me off. |
