Lost Video Island

Recently, I've been getting up to three spammers a day on my videos, and this has happened in the past week, much more so than it had earlier. I usually run the combo of marking the comment as spam and blocking the user.

Is there any other way to block them, short of approving all comments? (Because if I have to read the spam to disapprove it, that's the same amount of hassle as marking spam/blocking the user.) Does anyone know a failsafe way (other than not posting vids on YouTube, haha) to make these twits go away?

The thing I've been having lately is random people wanting to share their vids with me (and their profile is full of people asking, "Why are you wanting me to share vids with you? Who ARE you?" comments

). And I've had the "see hotttt grls LIVE at..."

spam popping up ALL over my vids lately, too.

Short of having to approve all comments or just deleting them/reporting them as spam as they show up, I haven't found any way around them.

So weird. I usually just delete them. If I don't know you, I don't want to "share videos" with you, because I really don't care what you have to offer...ESPECIALLY if you've just got a ton of random vids of yourself and your friends doing stupid things or, worse, porn-type stuff.

Stupid people.

when i check my mail and i see youtube, i'm like whoo new comment and i read it and i'm like WTF i'm sick of it stupid spam.

I get weird people wanting to share videos and i look at their page and i'm like what, and someone on my page commented me saying cool videos, take a look at my page and maybe subscribe and it's a way of getting more subscribers

Jeez...

I've been getting random people asking me to share vids, and I have been checking out their pages first before accepting. Making sure that they have a Lost or Heroes vid in their faves or somethin.

Sadly, I'm not sure how to stop all this horrible spam, except to just mark it as spam as soon as you get it and block the users.

Sorry about that, and hang in there.
