Belated lyrics - hell, I happen to think they're eerily fitting.
Little man, big man - who came first?
What is the measure of our worth?
If there was a storm rolled in,
Who'd run inside, who'd go walking?
Little man, big man - what's inside?
It's all in the places where we find our pride
If there was a soul lost by the road,
Who'd pass by, who'd take it home?
Where is the beast lying?
Is there a beast hiding?
Little man, big man - who is who?
It's all in the damage that our toys can do
If there was a rock and a window pane,
Who'd throw stones, who'd walk away?
Where is the beast lying?
Is there a beast hiding?
Are we learning? Are we moving?
Little man, big man - fade away
It's all in the violence of the games we play
It's all in the violence of the games we play
It's all in the love we give today _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

This is the first Locke AND Ben video I've ever seen. Anyway, you used some great clips-went with the music quite well. I think this song is perfect for Ben and Locke! I also loved the bit 'is there a beast hiding?' and it shows Ben's smirking face-eery Lol |

Yeah, that's one of my favorite bits in the video as well, if I can say so, even if that smirk scares the hell out of me. Hooray, Michael Emerson.
Thanks for commenting, too! I really liked the way this one turned out, personally (especially given how fitting the song is, and the fact that it's more recent than most stuff I've done, heh), and was disappointed that nobody had commented/only one person had voted. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. Wow, good song for Locke and Ben. I liked that "Little Man, Big Man" thing, it was really cool for them. You matched all of the lyrics really well for them, especially "The violence in the games we play." Nice vid! |

Wow, the song fits perfectly! And yes, Ben is creepy, and Michael Emerson rocks! I also thought that you had nice clip choices, tho it seemed to me that there coudl have been some clip changes instead of drawing out a couple of the scenes, but nothing big. I dunno, maybe you did this on purpose, but when it said -
"If there was a storm rolled in,
Who'd run inside, who'd go walking?"
I probably woudl have a scene of Ben walking inside (I believe there was a scene like that), and then Locke out int he rain, for contrast, instead of just Locke for both lines...tho I think you were trying to leave it open for us to decide? I dunno. That was just one thing that struck me, but I thought that it was great. _________________

Thanks! I figured you would like it - and I think it proves the point about what we were talking about, haha. But I digress...

Hee. Thanks. Here was the thought process for why just Locke/just Ben's flashback/mostly Ben and a little Locke/both Ben and Locke equally:
Simply, balance. I didn't want one character overtaking the video and the main way to make it an even split (as the 'soul lost by the road' would have to be Roger and - what's her name, Emily, right? - stranded by the road, as the 'toys' would have to be Ben and his doll, and as 'if there was a storm rolled in' would have to be Locke) was to split it on the verses. If I included Ben in the first verse, that would be too much Ben, as I couldn't fit Locke in with the 'toys' line, or have him being the shooter in the 'violence' verse.
That's why it was just Locke, but you're right in that the line would have seemed less drawn out if it were both. (It also would have seemed less drawn out at the end if I'd cut the clip of Ben looking a little shocked and shaking his head before he asks Locke, 'Why do you let him (Jack) talk to you like that?', as that one goes on for a bit too, but oh well!
I just want more people to see this one, because the lyrics, damn. In my book, you won't find a better song to do a video for both of them, anyway. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Wasn't sure if you were asking a question, so! But yeah, I agree with you, so hooray. If you ever need songs (besides Jin, apparently!), lemme know. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Sorry about the Jin song...it just was weird. xD The style I mean. I give up on that one. I'm onto my grease vid. I got about 5 seconds done. _________________

No 'If You Were Gay' for me. I'm having a hard enough time with 'Summer Nights' not that I've had a chance to work on it that much. _________________

I would pay to see an Ethan vid to 'My Girlfriend, Who Lives in Canada' or a Desmond vid to 'There Is Life Outside Your Apartment' (re. the hatch.)
SO MUCH (MONOPOLY) MONEY. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.
