Cool! I actually linked to my Locke vid on the 'Lage and got a few good responses.
I'd love to be able to show the stuff to the execs, but I'm always afraid of being sued  |

i don't have a problem with fan made stuff as it's not making money that would otherwise go to the people who make the show. fanfic, videos people make to share with each other, and all the other manifestatgions of fandom, are an exciting way for people to engage with the show, and i respect and appreciate that.
of course, i'm not a studio lawyer, they might think differently, but i like it when fans get passionate about a show i'm writing!

LOL well if we were to show any videos, then we'd try and pick the absolute best (now THERE's an awkward situation... ) So I'm reluctant to do it
Hell, if I was the one to do it, I would just recommend my own vids! Fair trial my ASS! |

| I know this thread's like a week old, but I thought it might be worth mentioning that aside from the writers, the production office in Hawaii loves receiving fan vids. If anyone would like the address, PM me. (I don't want to to cause a spam outbreak, lol). |

Hey!  I just realized oyu said that! Don't say that!  Many of your vids are exceptional, Jaime. I find that you have a sort of "dice roll" chance with these vids. Some are absolutely phenomenol, and some are amazing that the same person made it! but it adds some interest to the viewing, anyway! Keep making them  *shakes fist* maaaakkkke theeeemmm!!!!

I just realized how mortified I would feel if Josh Holloway ever discovered that I call myself a Raving Sawyerette... 
Ah, who cares! It's what I am and I'll stand proud! 
Now, the fact that my first "serious" vid was a JACK vid is a mystery never fully explained, even to me... 
But back to the topic on hand... I think that would be very cool if some of the official "Lost" people ever saw some of our vids. As long as, like, they didn't feel compelled to sue us, of course!
Hey, it's a compliment to how much we love their show, now isn't it? Take it in that spirit, please, Official People! *crosses fingers, waiting for the Lawsuit Of Death to show up in her mailbox*

(And I apologize for not getting in there and reviewing them like I should. I'm so far behind on my Internet stuff anymore, I'm never gonna get caught up...  But it's no reflection on anybody who has a vid that I've loved and just haven't squeezed in the time for a review!) |
