Awesome!!!  They won't be drawing it out!!! It's gonna be structured and come down to an "exciting series conclusion"!!
(of course, it'll suck Lost won't last more than a couple more seasons... but still, I'm impressed with their artistic merit  . |

...idk. i think its three more season to go (not counting this one), and 48 episodes to go (makeing it like 16 episodes per season spanned over, like, 3 years).. well, i HOPE its not like that! that would be crazy.. if they say lost has commited series suicide now, just wait till that!

That's what I read, too: Three more seasons with 16 episodes per season. It doesn't bother me too much because it works in other tv shows, too (L-Word even only has about 12 to 14 episodes per season).
I'm really happy though that they will stop after season six. Not many tv shows made it much longer than that. Just look what happened to the X-Files: Nine seasons of which at least the last three seasons were the biggest crap ever!  It would've been such a fantastic show if they'd stopped after season six or even better after season five.

You certainly didn't watch the same X-files as me then. Season 7 was cracking, 8 was great and only 9 started to lose it, and even then the stories were good, just the feel was lost.
Anyways it doesn't matter now. Lost has hung itself now so how they'll wring 48 more episodes out of this I dunno...

I think it's probably good that there's an end it sight! Although I hate that it has to end! 
3 seasons of 16 eps Feb to May seems a little dragged out and the wait between is Killer. But I'm sure that it'll work out in the end. Or I hope so anyways. |

They should do 2 seasons of 24 episodes. If Lost isn't on in the fall people will forget about it
