I read somewhere on the internet that not only one of the Losties, but that also Tom aka Mr. Friendly is going to die in either this or the next episode.

If it's true, there's only one thing left for me to say: The writers seriously suck!!!

I too heard that Tom died. Along with Charlie..

I can only hope Tom confesses his love to Jack before it's too late.

Yes, it has been confirmed that Charlie, Tom and some red shirt other will die. There's also two other females that are dying but we don't know which ones yet. Dark UFO says they will confirm it soon.

I see one post of 'Yay, the annoying hobbit is finally dead' and I will hate you forever.

Tom, too? That's just messed up! Why don't we just nuke the Island then go off the air for 2,000 months, then see if anybody even bothers to show up when the 4th season comes on (starring...uh...nobody 'cause they killed all of the characters off already).

PS - And seriously, I'm with Cinthia and Jen. I don't want to hear any "yay, he's dead" posts right now, either. And it's not because I'm some huge Charlie fan. It's because they're running off a huge part of their fanbase and thus turning people away from Lost. Who will then no longer come to LVI. Whom I will then lose contact with. So bad writing on this show is actually quite personal to me!

And THAT'S what any gloating about any upcoming character death is going to feel like to me.

I'm so sad about Charlie's and Tom's death.

wasn't that other guy called ryan or something because i think he was the guy who had sayid chained up to the swing. I think sayid will kill him.

I know i agree i don't want any of that charlie's dead stuff. I don't think some people realise that charlie does have fans who will be upset by his death. I've always loved his character and will be sad to see him go.

I'm so staying away from spoilers next year. There's a little bit of a foiler-gate going on at the moment. The info posted by DarkUFO saying that Tom and Charlie are going to die is being challenged. (who cares about the third guy???). When DarkUFO posts something in the spoiler section, it's damn reliable. But their trusted source might have been given false information (it's nothing new... they also gave false info to secretagenman - the guy that was giving insider info on the casting - at the beginning of the season).

Doesn't make Charlie or Tom safe since they still say one major character will die in the finale. whom is anyone's guess. It goes from Hurley, to Sayid to Charlie, to Kate, etc.

Soooo.... Charlie's not dead.... yet.
