On a side note Warren is on the council and when talk about not giving honorable mention videos council picks he didn't challenge it knowing his video didn't make the top 3. Like I said we don't like making those choices but with the way we have LVI set up givng every contests entry a council pick just isn't logical.

Yes, that answers my question very well. And I didn't mean to make it sound like every contest entry deserved a council pick, just a few. But now I understand the concept of it. Thanks for replying so quickly!

I think it would be cool if we had a different kind of seal for the contest winners. It would be nice to give that extra bit of recognition to the 4th and 5th place spots, if we were to have 1rst, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th, seals. Unfortunately, it would be kinda tough to do that, so we never have. But otherwise, Lostcalier put it really well. Though I am still a little sore about that video of mine >.<  Thanks for thinking it deserves a council pick anyway appreciate it. |

Yeah, I agree that would be pretty cool. I just wish I would have thought of it when I designed the way the seals work. doh.
Oh well. Hobbes, you and me will just have to deal with those non-winning contest vids messing up our other wise straight A profiles.

speaking of "non-winner"; does anyone else still think it's a bit harsh calling the losing videos "The Losers"?
It's not about my record!  It's... it's.... uhhh.... okay, yeah, it is.  But I was TRYING to be helpful to others in the process at least  Jeez... |

I also suggest "other entries." Nice, neat and to the point. I was really bothered by the "Loser" title, as well. Just because you didn't win a prize, doesn't make your vid a "loser." Even worse, it might actually make the vidder feel like that label was being applied to them. LVI is classier than that.
There's my two cents.

Once upon a time they were all listed nder the lable of "Honorable Mention with the Judges Picks getting a special Judges Honorable Mnetion area. I'm not entirely sure what happened but I'm going to try and get it back to that way because when I discovered the "Loser" category I didn't much like it myself. So I'll get this issue remedied just as quickly as I can.
