I think hes playing a part...I mean think about it, if he's all like "LET HER GO!" they will just overpower them both and theyll both be back in cages. I think Jack has some plan.

I agree, and after what he said in his last episode about them kidnapping children, hanging Charlie by a tree etc, he's not just going to become one of them and allow them to keep doing what they're doing. He has to have a plan! It's the only way.

I don't think that Jack will ever become one of the others! He'll always be one of the Losties we know and love. And if you look at the part where he is whispering to Kate that he will come back for...he is definitely not one of the other there!  |

That creepy ass room- Ive only been genuinely "scared" during LOST a few times, but thats definitley in the top 5. That really creeped me out, especially when they showed his eyes!!!!

haha. You said glow in the dark glasses and I had to go back and check what you were talking about for a sec because what poped in my head immediately was Elijah Wood in Sin City. lol. I don't think the others are the bad guys, myself. I think that judging from Tom and Juliet there is a lot more to the story. I just wish I had evidence to back up the feeling. lol.

I know what you mean. I think the writers want us to think that they are evil-knievels but really they aren't. Like in S1, they tried to make us scared/hate them, and now they'll prolly give us some big exlanation that makes the others look all justified and fluffy

Regarding the others being trustworthy. SPECIFICALLY BEN:
The fact that Alex trusts him, makes me WANT to trust him. From what we've seen of her, she's a smart, capable and caring young woman. And who did they go to to get Juliet off the hook? Ben.
But then there's the fact that Juliet says Ben made the same promise to her as he made to Jack, and never followed through with it. So I don't know WHO to trust.

I dont think she does trust him. I think she has a bizarro loyalty because she thinks hes her father, and thats as far as that goes.
And, I dont think they are the good guys, but thats just my opinion. Theyre almost like a cult. But with that being said, remember how Mikhal said Kate et al werent wanted because they werent "good" or "perfect" (sorry, cant remember the exact words) why did they take Kate and Sawyer in the first place???
