Still about two months to go, but this movie definitely needs its own thread.

I'm already looking forward to it! I'm especially excited that Chow Yun-Fat will be in this movie. He's a great and very charismatic actor.

Does anybody know if we will finally get to see Jack Sparrow's father? (Keith Richards was supposed to play that part)

Apparently we ARE going to see Keith Richards as Jack's dad! I saw an on-set picture in OK Magazine (yes I buy OK. I'm shallow)

I'm going to see this film for my birthday, and it'll probably be one of my best birthday presents. Anything with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom is the best thing that I could get

I had at quick look through some trailer sites but I couldn't find anything.

It's strange, really, since the release date is in two months already.

EDIT: Hmm, ok, I just found this. It seems like we will have to wait another week to see the first trailer.

The trailer barely loads for me.. only gets to the bit just after the green 'preview' bit

Okay, I watched it (finally) and I am SO EXCITED NOW. I thought the whole film was gonna be about them trying to get Jack back? And they showed him in like every clip! Talk about spoiling it. I mean, I wanted to tease my friend (who cried when Jack 'died') that they might not be able to save Jack and now they release THIS! Totaly ruined my plan.

But i'm still excited

PS: What's with the kissing between Will/Elizabeth? Talk about inapropriate timing! You're being attacked by skelton pirates, (by the looks of it) control yourselves!

trailer is awesome, and I can't wait....BUT..all my Sparrabeth shipper hopes just died with this preview. Lizzy will be with Will

...other than this aspect movie seems great..but I so want Jack to be in love, at least with someone

i cannot wait for this film there was a bit about it in the sun newspaper today kinda says whats in the trailer:-

- Will asks Elizabeth to marry him
- Captain Barbossa is back
- new character is Captain Sao Feng

The Sun newspaper is useless! We already knew all those! Well apart from the last one. The Sun just watched the trailer and wrote about it.. I hate that paper..

There's some clips online now... I found some at TV4, it says it's exclusive, so

you can find them here! Just scroll down a bit, until you see Jack, and then it should start. It's two clips, one called Jack Sparrow and the other one called Everything has led to this.
